I Bought This For My Iphone And Have Been More Tha
I bought this for my iPhone and have been more than impressed.
It has a friendly easy to use interface, provides good routes and is great value for money when compared to other sat-navs on the market.
I found, comparing to a tomtom app, that I actually prefered using the copilot system, It was quicker, easier to use and far far cheaper.
My favourite two features are definately the easy-lane finder (currently advertised as the new tomtom's selling point for £150) and the free speed camera updates.
I would say that occasionally it takes a little longer than expected to find a satelite fix, which can be a bit annoying if you really don't know where you are, but other than that I would certainly reccomend Copilot live 8 to anyone, especially on iPhone.

The Only Thing I Like About The Satellite Navigat
The only thing I like about the satellite navigation program Copilot live 8 is the attractive user interface, but it has proved to be almost useless when used on my HTC HD. I had downloaded the program onto my SD memory card.
Before downloading Copilot I asked HTC help desk to recommend a sat/nav program but they refused to make a recommendation, possibly because their GPS receiver is not up to scratch. What I do now know is that the combination to Copilot and my HTC HD is quite useless. It can take up to 15 minutes to get a positional fix and in some built up areas it is impossible to get any sort of fix. The updating is extremely slow, so that when walking you no idea of what direction to go in. I you are lucky there is just a red marker to show you where you are. There is no compass to help you know what direction you are pointed in.
I suspect that in most cases if the telephone companies had the possibility of supplying a good satellite navigation application for their telephones the software would come preinstalled. It would be a good idea if HTC recommended an application or admitted that their GPS receiver did not work sufficiently well for satellite navigation to be of real use.
