Boddingtons has a very smooth taste and does not leave a bad after taste either. It also has a very rich, creamy head. Many say it leaves a soapy after taste, but I did not notice one at all. The only thing I would say that is negative is that it could have had a little more character to it, but it is a good beer none the less… Read Full Review

Well the only good point about Boddingtons Bitter is that it is brewed in Manchester, it is very thick and sweet with a soapy aftertaste. You'll have to shave your tongue the next morning for a week, it's that rough… Read Full Review

A weak-tasting cross breed between beer, lager & sugar water. No relation to the original that I can detect. This beer is not actually offensive (it has too little character for that!) and if served very cold is no worse than fosters, hofmeister, skol etc. and whilst as sweet as the "smooth" bitters it is not as soapy tasting!… Read Full Review
