“Hopefully, a musician will read this review and save...”

Hopefully, a musician will read this review and save themself a ton of money unlike myself. I have been playing guitar for 50 years and have been seeking that once-in-a-lifetime guitar. Played many and was raised on a Martin 00-18. My first Taylor (I have had 4), an 810CE, was and still is the best of the bunch. My recent is a custom, $7500 Cocobola GS build-to-order. A beautiful instrument. Unfortunately the sound is less than quality at such a price. I will not make this long winded but DO NOT order a BTO from Tayler. Do not accept their conclusions as to the tonals of different woods. The sound is not balanced across the spectrum and the playability will need to be reworked by real luthiers. Remember, do not buy what you cannot play and hear. Especially from Taylor. They will not go out of their way to make it right. You will lose. This is the second real dissatisfaction with an upper line Taylor.
