The Hewlett Packard HP 35S is an RPN scientific calculator which is a rare thing these days. RPN however is a very efficient method of entering calculations, both for the calculator and the user. The HP 35S is well constructed and with a good key feel. The display is a vast improvement on the old 33S model which I also own. It is well featured with all the common transcendental functions and more. My only gripe is the strange method for complex number operations (conversions are done via a display mode) and entering bases other than decimal requires navigating to a menu which is less than efficient. Despite these small failings (which would not be hard for HP to fix), worthy buy if you want a good solid scientific calculator and like (or are willing to learn) RPN.
