When you are playing against the computer, the computer player seems to think by adding ing, ly, ble etc to any existing word on the board it is a legit word. If you as a player try to use the same word it says it is no in the dictionary. Sent numerous e-mails to tech support and was told there was nothing wrong with the game. Even sent them pictures of the words the computer said were legit, that the computer player played that weren't event close to real words. The game lets the computer players make up any kind of word in order to use all 7 letters. Their tech support is pathetic!! Don't waste your money.

2009 version for PC
On a positive note, the board is larger on screen compared to 2007 version and subsequently less clutter around the board.
On the negative side, you can't seem to set it up for 2 humans to play offline and the placing of words on the board has taken a huge step backwards and is now quite awkward on a laptop touchpad. They've removed the easy facility of clicking the start square, direction arrow and typing in the word. You now have to manually place letters or select letters in sequence and drag the selected letters to the board.
It's clearly been adapted from the console varieties (moreso than earlier PC versions) and dumbed down to those levels.
A crying shame for the legion of hardcore fanatics who had hoped for a better gameplay experience
