Loved My Stay In The Summer Holidays At The Lodge
Loved my stay in the Summer Holidays at the Lodge Park Y Noddfa. The facilities available for use for me and the kids were fantastic whether they be at the pool, on the tennis courts, down at the play park or just generally riding their bikes around the park and making friends and I enjoyed a few quiet mornings in the gym too! The actual lodge was basic but perfectly comfortable for my family and I even when we were all in there in the evenings! Its location is perfect just outside of Pwllheli meant it was within easy reach of the town (10 mins by car) but far enough away for my husband and I to chill by the pool and go for long walks around the lakes and be able to enjoy the peace, tranquility and nature (we're sure we spotted an otter on one of the lakes!). I have recommended it to all my friends!

ASH LODGE, Y NODDFA, NR PWLLHELI. Ignore the website claims about modern "New England" interior and "washing machine". Arrived 15th August, today is 18th and we left this morning, 3 days into our week's holiday. The lodge is filthy, black mould all over the bathroom, round the taps, window blinds don't work, blinds dirty and dead flies trapped in slats, light fittings cobwebbed and full of dead flies, carpet badly stained, freezer compartment of fridge frozen up and we had to chip it all away, greasy tray with burnt crumbs left in the oven, overall damp aroma and feel. We complained and 24 hours later we left, will be claiming compensation. Not reccommended. And thats putting it VERY mildly. Such a shame as the setting is beautiful. (Family with 2 young children.)
I totally agree with Y Noddfa comments beautiful place lovely helpfull staff returne every year
If you read the information on the website it does refer to the privately owned luxury lodges for rent which are priced at a higher rate.
The little chalets information provided by the letting agents explains that it is a chalet and not a luxury lodge and are priced accordingly.
We are sorry you feel this way and cannot agree with all your criticism. However your complaints were taken onboard and Welcome have compensated you.
This said we are normally fully booked with many happy returning customers and a visitors book to back this up.
