For all that I got my Iberna/Baumatic DW 1605 thrown in free with my new kitchen, I would have rather paid for one,of my own choosing. The only thing I can say in it's favour,is it cleans well. The downsides are that it is incredibly noisy and I have to close my kitchen door, when it's in operation, and the design of the racks is appalling. Firstly, the cuttlery basket is at the back of the bottom rack, so adding after loading the plates, is really awkward. Unless you have bog standard shaped plates, you often have to miss a slot, to avoid the plates coming into contact with eachother. I think the design is the same on Baumatic, Hoover and Candy machines. I had a 15 year old Siemens before which was a brilliant machine, I am likely to have my Iberna taken out in the near future, even though it's new, and pay for another one from the Bosch group.

Terrible the worst rubbish I have ever bought. My old one was 100 times better. You spend more time drying the dishwasher itself after you use. It never dries the dishes no matter what they tell you yo do. Absolute rubbish Do not buy one . I would rather wash dishes myself it’s much quicker. It’s not even worth 1 star.

Top Drawer glides, all rollers 8 in total keep falling out £10 to replace each set(£40:00) bottom drawer 3/4 of prongs have rusted through and eventually break away. To replace said drawer believe this or not £100:00.would not recommend to my worse enemy.Will be cutting losses and investing in a Miele as I had before but left in the property that I sold.Seems as if the plastic within the washer was never tested to withstand heat.

Have had 3 bosch dishwashers in 17 years so tried a Baumatic slimline. Have given 3 months to get used to it but am still unhappy. 1.It is not "quiet as a whisper" as advertised. I can hear the gentle rumble from an adjoining room. 2 still struggle to set up the plate racks which keep collapsing. Designed apparently to go flat for large pots and pans. 3. Our slightly than larger than average dinner plates catch on the top tray runners and jam it, if the outer part of the racks are used. 4 if the lower tray is pushed in just on the left hand side it jams on the right side opening. 5. The door catch is very stiff and despite spraying with a lubricant still bends the plastic top console leaving me to wonder if it will after a few years finally suffer from a stress crack. 6. On a positive, it looks good and the water squirters don't seem to block like a Bosch and it is cheaper than a bosch. Would not but another one or another Bosch which are about £80.00 more. Hope this helps someone.

Don't buy a baumatic dishwasher I have to wash dishes 4 Multiple times an still there is food residue, worst item I have ever bought go and buy something else all u do is waste elelectricity an tablets. Buy rubber gloves the most useless dishwasher I have ever had!!! Have called out after care service wd or had more joy putting my head in the microwave even the guy said there rubbish! Wish I bought a boosch :@ nothing I like about this product!!

I purchased a Baumatic DWI605 fully intergrated Dishwasher as part of my new kitched. After reading some reviews I was concerned about purchasing it but as it came with a 2 year parts and labour guarantee I decided to go ahead and see for myself. I have tried most of the programmes and have found them to wash and dry well, even the rapid programme with only takes just over 30 mins is good for general washing. I always rinse residue off pans and dishes anyway but they come out nice and clean and if a little mark is left it is a small price to pay for a good wash over a short time which must be more economical on the purse and better for the planet. Dont know what other people expect from a dishwasher but I am very pleased with mine.

Hi we have a Baumatic 1641. Had it a few weeks now. Quiet and good wash, but terrible at drying. Tried all the things advised to do in the manual. It does not seem to get hot enough to dry as our old Hotpoint did. Emailed sales dept, customer service and the MD. Not a chirp from anyone. Would not advise to buy a Baumatic Dishwasher!

Very pleased with the service received and the speed of delivery. I would recommend this dishwasher to family and friends.

Our first dishwasher had to be replaced after the engineer replaced the motor which had been smelling of burning without fixing the leak causing the problem. The second motor started burning as soon as we switched the dishwasher on, luckily we were at home and able to isolate it from the mains. Our current problem is on going.The week of the 14 th Nov I phoned and was told it would be two weeks before an engineer could attend. I explained we had been paying a maintenance contract for a long time and understood we could expect a visit within 5 working days. On 25th Nov an engineer called he said he would order the parts and it should be a week to ten days. On the 8th Dec I phoned and was told they would phone me back when they had checked if the parts were in. No return call . On the 9th dec phoned again and was told the parts were in the warehouse and they would be despatched to the engineer that day. 16th Dec engineer visited and confirmed the wrong parts had been sent. He said we would try and get the parts sent as quickly as possible. 20th Dec telephoned and was told there was no record of anything under our postcode.! Phoned again ten minutes later ( Its a call centre used by beaumatic ) and was told the parts were on order and there was nothing she could do to speed things up as they were only agents for beaumatic. Phoned another number I found at the back of the service manual and was told they would try and locate the parts. In fairness they did return this call to say they were still trying to trace the parts and would phone back. No phone call has been received. Having spent many hours listening to their taped messages saying 'best appliances with zero compromises' or 'chic and functional design' or their customer care on their website that says parts ordered before 1 30 pm will be despatched the same day we are still without a dishwasher for Christmas ! The after care from our experience is beyond a joke. Be warned!

Need I say more ..... the Baumatic dishwasher set fire after i hadnt used it for a while. the reason i didnt use it was because the soapdoor would get stuck and id set the machine on up to 3 times and the door would still not open during the wash cycle at any time. id then give up and hand wash all dishes, bare in mind the waste of soap and water during this palaava! Anyway I called firebrigade and they said the fire was contained. This was on Friday 2nd Spetember. Todays is 14th and they were meant to come today until we had to rearrange due to husband being called in at work. We will see what frm of compensation we can get, ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO TACKLE THE PERSON WHO COMES TO CHECK OUT THE MACHINE, TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THEM IN COMPENSATION? Theres damage to the crockery and dishwasher but nothing else......thanks heavens! PS all in all the dishwasher worked fine for thhe first say 6 months which is pretty poor for a product manufactured in any country ......

Purchased Baumatic dishwasher as part of a kitchen package from Rapid Hardware. Product recommended by salesman. Had nothing but problems from the outset. Several engineers have visited: the first looked at the machine for an hour and left; returned with wrong parts and left the machine in an unsafe and dangerous condition. At this point the machine was blowing house fuses. Second engineer arrived and pulled the machine from its housing and made improvements. However, two months later the same problem of blowing fuses has returned; I can only assume this is due to water penetrating into the electric systems. Guarantee is now expired and whilst they offered me a new machine at a slightly discounted rate I think I will choose Bosch.
