Comodo Anti-virus & Firewall - Free Version

kiosk, geek buddy, the widget....stupid stuff I don't care about. The kiosk hijacks your desktop view, kills your wallpaper, and it makes it look like, well....a comodo kiosk, whatever the heck it means.

The first time it installed, this stupid program made loud sounds like 'BLOP! BLOP!' it startled me. Can't they make these stupid programs just do their thing and shut up?

I could find the most stupid things except how to block a program directing my browser to the products website.

Obviously, after about 15 minutes of frustration, I just realized I was wasting my time and gave up

I am using Comodo Antivirus & Firewall for past one year .It is really good and safe.It is Simple install. Firewall stealths all ports. Detected all leak tests. Comodo's FREE Internet security suite has come a long way since it's launch, and has improved in all aspects of it's design and ease of use. As with the previous reviewer, I partially agree that Comodo had it's teething problems with Vista based systems. However we are talking a couple of years ago now. I have used and recommended Comodo security products to all my friends. I have also installed Comodo on a number of windows based computers, both new and used, and have as yet not encountered any issues with it's installation, compatibility and/or everyday use. In conclusion, I could not recommend a better FREE Internet security suite, it's currently rated as the worlds third best security solution for 2009 (As awarded in an independent firewall survey)

I used Comodo Firewall before they included Anti-virus with it. I used their software for about two weeks and was so impressed I installed it on my parents PC. However, after about 6-7 months my parents computer went wrong, when I checked out the problem Comodo firewall had caused all sorts of issue's within Vista. I removed Comodo and fired up Microsofts own Firewall. After checking my own PC I found the same problems and managed to uninstall Comodo before I had the same fate.Although I like Comodo and what they are doing I am very unsure as to using any of their software again.
