I have just got the Mammut Passion rope so I can do more climbing out doors but more soso I can lead indoors.
I have only used it a few times but the rope is great, i still need to get a few twists out of it as I uncoiled it wrong but other than that its great.
If feels really strong and I have confidence in it. Its bright yellow and has handy 30m marks in the middle. The rope is really easy to tie in to, unlike so many other ropes that I have used before and at 10mm it fits easily in to my belay, again ulike other ropes I have struggles with before.
I chose this rope as it was recommended to me as a safe, strong and sturdy rope I can have confidence in, and so far so good.
Some people may say a rope is just a rope but you know when you have a good one. At £90 its really good value for money, and having a climbing rope that 60m is really handy (a bit too much rope can get tangles round your feet when your belaying but its soon disappears when the climbers at the top of the wall and coming down.
