Taken ill in Norway, hospitalized with suspected heart attack, ribs cracked bruised during CPR.Unable to ride motorcycle. On contacting carol nash breakdown assistance, to see if they could repatriate my bike to uk , I was told a definitely not, your motorcycle has not broken down. The fact that your too ill to ride it is of no interest to carol nash. Future customers of carol nash beware. I will look elsewhere in future for all of my motorcycles cover.

I experienced a rear motorcycle blowout on the A591 in Cumbria on 25th September. After my puncture repair kit failed, I contacted Carole Nash Breakdown. After giving my details I was informed that I was not covered for breakdown. This also happened a couple of years ago when information wasnt passed onto the breakdown recovery people, after a further wait, I was informed that I was covered and help was on it's way.I was given the usual waiting time of 60 fo 90 minutes and phoned for an ETA 2 hours later. I was given a new ETA for 1400. At 1430, again I phoned Carole Nash and was told I was getting recovered at 1500. I was recovered at 1515. Fortunately, my insurance with Carole Nash terminates in November.I wont be insuring my bikes with them again. They really dont give a flying fig about their customers as they proved last Saturday.

A member of our scooter club broke down on the way home from a rally at approx. 15:30, after attempts to repair the scooter failed he called Carole Nash to arrange recovery. He was in the middle of the countryside, no food or drink, and was told he would be picked up in 3 hours. The ETA then changed multiple times and he was eventually picked up at 01:00! The recovery van would only take him part if the way home and his scooter was then chain to a lamppost at a service area and he was sent home in a taxi. he eventually got home at 07:00 - his scooter was supposed to be delivered the same day but wasn't. I would strongly advise that you read the recovery policy details carefully before you get cover form this company.

3 and a half hour waiting when told it would be an hour to 90 mins. Only updates I received were when I called them, despite being told they would contact me. Time I was told that they would be here was changed 3 times. Really not impressed. Took their more expensive insurance because of the promised extras, obviously they don't exist.

Very Unhappy about Carol Nash insurance policies. When I moved house to another area needed to make additional payment. Been told by an adviser that letter has been sent to me regarding this payment which I never received. And now my insurance cancelled, payment for 9 month taken out, not refundable. After two conversations with an adviser nothing they can do about it. I think this is unfair and would strongly recommend not to have any deals with this company. It is very upsetting when teenager getting his first life experience in such a bad way.

The Carole Nash Motorcycle Breakdown Cover has an easy to follow online application form , undefined employment scope makes things a bit awkward and impossible to complete !
