“redzone cobra dont get bitten”

I bought my redzone cobra for $380 from cappers fishing and tackle shop 5 years ago.It was impossible to tune which is essential if you intend to hunt with broadheads because you cant shoot arrows through the center of this riser. It is basically a recurve bow with cams stuck on it.The bow only has 3 draw lengths 28",29",30".Because it has no center shot like a compound bow should if used for target you would be better off with feathers instead of vanes on the butt end of an arrow. Please go to an archery club and get better bow buying advice before buying this and losing interest in this wonderful sport.Well what do you expect buying a bow made by a vegetarian hindu culture like Thailand.Wish I had gotten my hoyts crx first ultimately it would have been cheaper not losing so many arrows. My advice to redzone is change the riser design so the arrow can shoot throught the center of the bow and make it slightly heavier so it holds up in strong wind.I just hope the carbon they make this from is not the same their arrows are made of.The top limb broke after 7 months while its resting on my couch. The type of shop that sells these bows don't have bow technicians, presses or know anything about arrow spine.I fact now days if I walk into a specialty archery shop and see anything red zone I shake my head and walk out.The right reason to buy this is to Take the limbs off and make a crossbow out of it

Overall, an overpriced newbie bow that is incredibly unreliable, well in my case it is anyway. A good beginner's bow. Pretty accurate and can go up to a pretty high power. Also cheap, relatively. It looks really cheap, not reliable and very loud. My bowstring snapped after the short seven months I had it. After that, I got a bowpress to fix it, but was a waste of time. Out of the possible 400 points I could get at the local club, I only got 72, and my average is 300. For the harder second round, I asked if I could borrow a recurve bow from the cabinet, and I scored more than double that with my compound.
