An Excellent Introduction To Programming
I liked how the course was laid out. I found everything was very well explained and it was easy to navigate.
The course taught me skills that were very difficult to find on tutorials online.
The course was very challenging towards the end, especially Unit 7 onwards. It was really tough but I kept going and really pushed myself which ended in a fantastic result, both a distinction on the course and a job offer. So the hard work really paid off.
I liked the fact the course was very practical and hands on. The practical assignments on the course added to my portfolio which I was able to showcase to employers.

Itq L2
A simply written, easy to follow course. Payment was straightforward, as was contacting the tutor for queries.
I enjoyed working at my own pace, and not restricted by timeframes, like college term times or short course expiry dates.
The completion certificate and review notes from the tutor were helpful, I think the independent accreditors let the quick service down, but that is out of the control of the company. I would consider using them again.

Great Support For Python Programming
I completed this course through our employee training scheme, so I can't say it was excellent value as I never actually paid for it!
What I will say is that the course was good and the assignments were very interesting and I can't believe some of the games I managed to create.
I was struggling with the code a couple of times although thankfully the tutor support emails came back very quickly and often within the hour so it didn't slow my progress.
Overall I really enjoyed this and would recommend it to those looking to learn the Python Programming Language.
Thanks for your feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your course.

Office Management Skills Course, Brilliant!
I studied for the Office Management Skills Course and received my Pass result and certificate back in May this year.
Being an Office Manager in my job already, it was a great course for me to take. I learnt a lot and it was set out very clearly what was to be done.
The only thing I felt hard was being disciplined on myself to get the work done!
I personally didn't find that I had to contact my tutor which is the reason for the 4 star and not 5.
I am definitely looking at doing another course as the prices are very reasonable for what you learn!

I Won The April Kindle Fire Prize Draw !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I received my Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and found the course was amazing. It has given me the tools I need to start my career in this field. As a bonus to an already amazing experience, I won a brand new Amazon Kindle Fire for the April prize draw. What an extraordinary feeling and it will come in so handy. Thanks to the outstanding staff and tutors for a great life changing time and for the fantastic material provided in the course. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in this field and will be taking courses myself from them again in the future.
Hi Emilia.
I am so glad you have enjoyed your course and congratulations on winning the prize draw! Good luck for the future.

Html Course Good But Content Needs Checking
I found the course very interesting and learnt a lot. Frustrations took place when content did not work properly or information was not explained clearly enough. The Tutors were helpful and helped to resolve issues. The webmaster online course content is fully loaded and teaches you some great stuff. An area that I would like to comment on is the external features that are used to help you complete the course. The shop factory was not as good as I had hoped as integration between using and applying to your webpage is difficult. Some changes have been made with the shop factory that I do not think Distance learning are aware of. Trial use of applications are also a hindrance unless you are using all the time.
Thanks for your feedback. As you have mentioned we have already made changes to some of the content and this is constantly being looked at to keep the content as relevant as possible.
Shop Factory is an external product and only an example of a type of software that can be used to create online store pages. We use this as it is also used in Industry Certification such as CIW but I know Dave is currently adding other options to the course that could also be used to give a good balance of the options available.

Ciw + Distance Learning Centre = First Class
I studied the CIW Web Foundations Associate course via Distance Learning Centre UK and could not recommend this course more.
Anyone who is looking into Computing, IT, Networks, Software etc. is mad if they don't have CIW on their shortlist of courses.
It has given me a brilliant foundation for whatever I want to do next and in so many fields of work. It will really fill you with the confidence you need, which is very important, especially in a subject as intricate as this.
I found it easy to learn as well, the Mastery's were my personal favourite as I love the idea of having to get a question right twice in a row to pass it. Makes it easy to retain what you're learning.
The movie clips are good as well, they go over what you will be learning in the lesson you are about to start and give you a bit of knowledge before you make a start.
There really isn't anything bad I could say... Quite literally, I can't think of anything.
My tutor, was first class; rapid responses (within an hour tops every time), very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and, of course, very supportive.
I would highly recommend Distance Learning Centre and will definitely be coming back should I decide to do another distance study course.
Many thanks and kind regards,
A C - CIW Web Foundations Associate.
Thank you for your kind comments. Good luck with any future projects

Fantastic Course In Garden Design
I made an excellent decision in studying the garden design course. The course has given me all I expected from it and much more. It has now opened many doors in garden design, for my future career. The tutor was excellent and the feedback on my assignments was very helpful. The course has given me a good insight into garden design and my future is now looking very good within garden design. I enjoyed every aspect of the course from designing ponds to designing areas for children to play and quiet areas for people to sit and enjoy the garden. I would certainly recommend this course to anyone who would like to take up garden design.
I am glad you have enjoyed the course. Good luck with any future projects.

Great Tutor
The hardware for the course webdesign was American. It is not very user-friendly but it worked ok. It has a very annoying jingle so I could not listen to music from my computer because I had the sound switched off. That was the bad part. The good part was the service of the tutor. Nine out of 10 times he would answer to questions on the same day. He would not give the answers but point me in the right direction. He was very patient and answer even the most basic questions that I should not have aksed after lesson 1. All in all I am glad I picked this place for a distance learning course.
Thank you for your feedback
Q&A
I am thinking of doing the CBT course but am concerned that if I select the online version I will need to print off the books that would be supplied if I select the post version, and I will end up with masses of one-sided A4 sheets instead of a neatly present book.
Can anyone please advise which is the best option to choose?
Thank you
