Had a 357XP for 5 years. Use it regularly and service it myself and I have never had a problem with it. Outperforms any other saw but I always use the ready mix Aspen fuel as I don't trust myself to get the mix 100% right. I managed to damage the engine on my Stihl strimmer by using a too rich mix. Husqvarna a fab saws.

I cut approximately 13 cord of wood to heat my home and domestic water. I had been using a huqvarna 350 with good results. Then the muffler got loose and the cylinder overheated and scored due to scavenging. To replace the cylinder cost 200 dollars plus. Decided to upgrade the saw and get a proffessional saw so I got a 576xp figureing, incorrectly that I would not have any problems for a long time. The place I bought the saw from rcommneded that insted of 50/1 I should run the saw at a slightly richer mix. I had seen this recommended other places so I did that with good gas 89 octain. I ran the saw for three sessions and the saw stopped suddenly only after running it for ten minutes the last time . I have had the saw approximately one month and mechanic said bad cylinder and must be replaced . I was very upset. fortunately it was under warrenty!
