Travelers Beware
mid May, after a one week cruise, we landed in Nice.. we rented a car at the airport, put all our luggage in the trunk and because it was too early to go to our hotel, we stopped at a museum for an hour..
we came back to the car, to find the back window SMASHED , the back seats pulled down and all our luggage STOLEN...
The police pretend not to know english and are totally indifferent.
The car company informed us that we were the 5th car that day to have been broken into...
BEWARE....we are finished with France... from what we have learned since arriving home, crime of this sort is rampant....
