They seem to have redesigned so that it goes blunt very quickly. Such a shame.

terrible, worse system i ever used, waste of money, let me put it this way, shaving with one week old, simple 2 blades disposable Gillette, gives you way, I mean way easier and smoother shave. AVOID

When I won my first Azores razor free by entering a competition, the quality of the shave was great. When purchasing replacement blades there the problem started poor quality shave. I thought give it one more try big mistake, when one is paying around £7 for 4 replacement blades the quality should be good. The blades will not stay in the razor, and this is common with the 3 razor units I have, apply any pressure and the blade unit falls out of the razor. I have now returned to the cheap disposable razors which give me a good shave. Azor King of Razors I think not.

Bought the Razor as i had used the gels in the past,on opening it the packaging looked cheap and nasty..I had 3 days growth so attempted to sahve in the normal way, it semi-removed a 1 inch strip on my cheek and...that was it...inspection showed the bristles had got lodged between the blades, and as they were so close together you could not clear them, so i had to remove my old Gilette from the bathroom bin to finish the shave..which it did with no issues despite being worn.. Worst product i have used for a very long time, does not even come CLOSE to being a Razor, Do not buy one as you will be very disappointed...

I bought this razor as I have used the gels and aftershave balms from this company for years. I was very disappointed with the product as it pulled the hair rather than cutting it. When it did cut it became clogged with hair very quickly. I was unable to rinse the hair from the razor so ended up using all 3 blades for 1 shave. In comparison to similar priced products I would not even consider it. I would have rather use a disposable cheap razor in future (£1 for 10) rather than spend £7 (with 3 blades) for one shave. Avoid at all costs!!!

It is the worst piece of cr4p i have ever had the displeasure of attempting to shave with. Reading that some people have actually enjoyed shaving with this "Razor" makes me think that i may have thicker bristles/hair (like others who complained) because i notice it seems to get clogged up and was very difficult to remove hair from between the blades,or they could be into sadomasochism. Not that the fact that it doesn't actually shave your face isn't enough to put you off, the three blades i used in three days were awkward to fit and remove without any obvious confirmed click into place. I found whole razor design bad for shaving, reach and shape of the blade especially.

Can't disagree with this review more.
1st shave wasn't so clever, but this was because I wasn't used to it, since then it's as good if not better than my old Wilkinson Sword Titatanium at less than half the price.

Bought this Azor5 blade as it was on promotion. Have heard good things about the brands oils and shave creams etc so thought I'd give this a go. The actual blade and handle look good and promise a close shave. However the blade is just useless as the 5 blades get clogged up with hairs with just the first swipe- I was forced to use an old toothbrush to clear the clogged up hairs trapped between each of the 5 blades. This had to be done each time I swiped the blade!!! Another design flaw is that the blade is too awkward to gangle and shave stubble just below the nose area. Avoid this razor at all costs. Its useless and many cheaper disposable razors do a far better job. What a shame as this product is from a British company and often prefer to support national brands and businesses.

The Azor is unequivocally the worst razor I have ever bought. Like most people I find the cost of replacement blades for the likes of Gillette Fusion extortionate, so I thought I would give the Azor a try. Much cheaper than the rest - and now I know why!! Completely useless!! I persevered for a month, on the basis that sometimes new things take a bit of getting used to, but however hard I tried I couldn't get a good shave, particularly under my nose, (perfectly normal size and shape!!). It did give a good result on the open, flat surfaces of my face, but anywhere that needed any degree of manipulation and it was a disaster. It is a cack-handed design that is awkward and uncomfortable to use. The blades are a fraction too close together, which may reduce the nicks, although I don't get any with the Gillette, which means the razor clogs up. All in all a complete waste of space and money. Gillette or Wilkinson blades may cost more, but they are definitely worth the extra. The joy of returning to my Gillette Fusion Power was exquisite - sorry I ever doubted you!!

Bought this razor with a pack of three blades. Used one a couple of times and threw all away. Who ever designed a razor that cannot reach all the contours of the face ( especially under the nose) should seriously consider a different job. May be cheap but so is a bic. Which at least does the job a couple of times before going blunt.

I am very happy with the razor, it did take a few times to get used to the "floppy" part. I use the razor to shave my head and I usually get a few nick from a new blade. This razor cut it clean and no nicks. After reading other reviews, I feel that the reviewers should give it some time and read the instructions...

Do not understand everyones moans, and thank goodness I didnt see them before I purchased. Just used it fot the first time and the closest 'nick free'shave I have ever used. Fantastic

As with many of the other reviews on here, I have been very disappointed with the Azor, despite being very pleased with other KoS products. I find I have to go over the same area several times to achieve anything like a close shave, and even then it is not as close as (admittedly the more expensive) Mach 3. This leads to severe razor burn and having to shave again later in the day if going out in the evening. certainly will not be buying this again and will probably revert to the Mach, despite the cost.

got the Azor king of shaves razor as a free trial, absolutely rubbish!! a Bic razor could shave better than this. always shave face and head and had no problems at all with the Gillette range, yes a bit on the expensive side but at least they do the job. had to revert back to the Gillette on the second run as the king of shaves was utter rubbish!! if you want a cheap razor, buy a bic!!

Gives a good shave and much cheaper than the competition.

At first I thought this Azor razor was going to be a bit special, but having used it for a few weeks (& with many unused blades in my bathroom cupboard) I can't wait to go out & buy another Mach 3.
The head is too floppy to allow for a close shave & whilst the design is pleasing on the eye, from a practicality point of view it's useless. I've just spent 10 minutes fiddling around trying to replace the blade in my razor but have given up. It would appear that the actual razor has shrunk & the blade is now too large to fit in the housing (sounds stupid, however the housing is made of rubber so this isn't impossible).
In short, stick to what you know. If it ain't broke....

I was massively disappointed with this razor, being a fan of other King of Shaves products and (like many people) thinking that razor blade prices nowadays are just crazy.
One of the main selling points of the Azor is that its blades are supposed to last longer and be cheaper. However, I found that the shave was no where near as close as with my Wilkinson Sword and I always had to go over my face at least twice to get it vaguely smooth. I also got a few nicks which never happened with my usual razor.
All-in-all, I don't believe this product lived up to either the hype surrounding it or the quality of King of Shaves other products. Unfortunately for me, it's back to my Wilkinson Sword.

A 4 blade razor on a floppy handle. It is hard to use accurately, as the head bends back as you try to apply pressure to your face. With four blades, it feels like you're using a cheese grater on your face. I felt I get a better and easier to use shave with a twin bladed disposable razor.
On the plus side, it is easy to clean as water flows through the blades very easily.

I tried the King Of Shaves Azor razor (amongst others) after finding Gilette products were getting too expensive.
While other razors gave a good initial shave, they quickly dulled and shaving with them more then once actually hurt.
As soon as i tried this razor it felt great. The blades cut my stubble effortlessly and shaving was actually pleasurable - and quick. The head pivots enough to reach each contour of the face and stubble cleans out from in-between the blades easily.
What i have found impressive is that the quality of the shave is not decreasing over time. I have used the same head now for over 8 shaves and it still gives perfect results (not even Gillette did that). The handle is unique and the whole razor just feels right.
What is also nice is that King Of Shaves have developed this razor with the minimum of moving parts to cut down on carbon emmisions during construction.
A very smooth shave.
Good shaving over time - doesn't wear out quickly.
easy to clean.
Not too expensive.
It is difficult to shave precisely.
