Im 3 weeks into this detox. The first two weeks were easy,there is lots to eat and im not restricting portions, some days cant get through snacks allowed. I have lost 8 pounds already.Im walking for exercise. I have found the initial cost more than my usual shop, but once i got initial ingrediants they are lasting a long time.This week im struggling.I just want to pop something easy in oven and ive had two cups of tea and a coffee oh and a little bit of chocolate.I think its important to have little treats as carol did.I didnt read about her treats til second week.The food is tasty,but family wont eat it.(3 boys and the mr in the house - say yuk).Half a stone to lose before my wedding so will continue.id highly recommend this healthy eating plan.

I did the Carol Vorderman detox, to the book, and felt better than ever. I lost a stone in the 28 days (had a 9 month old babyb at time). I had heaps of energy , looked great and had loads of positive comments. Yes it was hard, especially the coffee deprivation, had a headache at first, but worth it. I added curry powder, chilli powder etc.. to dishes when I got bored to spice them up.

The 'Carol Vorderman, Ko Chohan, Carol Vorderman's Detox for Life: The 28 Day Detox Diet and Beyond' is great and the diet plan is so easy to follow. I am currently on day 13 of the 28 day detox plan and have alredy lost 6lbs. I am teaming it with exercise but I feel still would have experienced sufficient weight loss in those 13 days.
The meal plans offer lots of variety and if you follow the recommendations you won't go hungry. I thought I would spend a fortune on the food but in fact my food bills are cheaper as I am not buying expensive cuts of meat or packaged food (everything is so natural and fresh) - don't worry about having to search for specialised ingredients either. If you go to any larger supermarket they will have everything you need from millet to non wheat bread.
I have more energy and seem to be loosing that dull lifeless look to my skin.
Although i am missing wine I think this diet is fab and so easy to follow. I would recommend it to anyone!

I must say i did not think that i would last on this detox at all but i did, and i never went hungry, i had more energy, i was complimented on the weight i'd lost and felt so much better inside and out.
Please do give it a go - it really does work. There were times when i though there's no way i'd lose weight as i'm getting to eat so much, but it just shows.
I did exercise on the plan to help with the weight lose and i did go down two dress sizes. From a ten to a 6! I'm so pleased. I will be doing this detox again after Christmas to get my body back on track for the New Year ahead and just have treats now and then. It's worth it.

The recipes are so tastey-and if they're not spicey enough for you, add a little more. I was so full and satisfied all the time. I exercise a lot, though, so I ate many of the suggested snacks. Completely cut my caffeine addiction in 3 days-very painful at first though. Wow, I was addicted to it! The recipes change everyday, which can be a bit challenging to keep up with for busy people. I highly recommend this book to anyone!

We only managed three weeks because we caught colds. I dropped a dress size from 16 to 14 which was great. My husband definitely loss weight. We are revaluing his diet as he has a wheat intolerance which has shown up through the Detox diet. I will do this again in the summer. I need to lose more weight as I have a knee op pending but I will not have it done while over weight. I am also diabetic and my blood sugars came down a full point from 6.2 to 5.2 but settled around 5.6 to 6.2 this is very good. I hope when I see my doctor next month (May) I hope that there will be an improvement in my blood pressure.
It was the best thing I ever did going on the Detox diet. GREAT!!!!

I have done this twice and felt brilliant afterwards I dropped a dress size, and I have loads of energy. Believe me, if I can do the Carol Vorderman Detox for Life 28 Day Detox Diet and Beyond so can you! I have five kids and two jobs. It is really worth it.

The Carol Vorderman, Ko Chohan, Carol Vorderman's Detox for Life: The 28 Day Detox Diet and Beyond plan worked wonders for my cousin and I. We stuck to the diet for the 28 days, and we found so many benefits. By the end of the second week we both had clearer skin, more energy and felt great! By the end of the month we had both dropped a dress size! It is an easy plan to follow and we never felt hungry.

I tried this book for a couple of days and gave up. It is just not practical for those of us who work full-time. The recipes are complicated, ingredients hard to get hold of, and I really do think this is a little hard on the body. I am sure there is an easier way to detox than this.
