“Built-in obsolescence?”

Got an H98 error after 2 years. This means the microwave generator stopped working. Cost to repair is greater than that to replace the unit. Many similar stories appear on the web. Searching for a more reliable brand. I had an older Panasonic Genius last 20+ years. I suspect built in obsolescence in this industry or obscenely poor quality control in China.
