I wanted to open a fixed rate e-isa, but I opened a fixed rate saver by mistake (my fault completely), put it down to "old age". I rang customer services to discuss the transfer of a maturing isa, and they discovered my mistake. It was righted immediately with no fuss whatsover, and with perfect courtesy. The bank transfers went through very quickly, and showed up online within hours. I can not fault the customer service, and ease of online access. Refreshing in today's climate!

Have just opened an e-saver account with Principality. What a refreshing change - it was just so simple, straightforwards and EASY. A breath of fresh air after Santander from whom I had to wrestle for ages to get the money to put into Principality, and countless others I've tried. Just couldn't believe it, but I had actually instructed my bank to put money into Principality within about 10 minutes, and it was showing on line within at most 2 hours. The only other bank I have come across with similar savings rates and ease of use is ING.

Please make sure you check your Principality e saver . They are regularly offering new issues of the e saver account whilst reducing the interest rates of existing customers on older issues. They will transfer you to the new issue but make it quite difficult to do this.
Yet another example of financial institutions treating existing customers badly. What a strange industry it is.
