I bought my car from Dace in may, all was well, the process was straight foward and everything was fine. Dace M.O.T'd the car before handover and it passed. A few weeks later I had my car serviced at a specialist service station, I was told the car should not have passed it MOT and I was given a list of jobs which is going to cost me just short of £700. I rang Dace as my car was still under their 3 month warranty and was told at the time of the MOT the car was ok. So in the space of 5ish week my car was an MOT failure. The front brakes were nakered, 80% worn on one side and 40% worn on the other. Of course the blame was put onto me. I will not be using Dace again and I strongly recommend that whoever is reading this does not either. Yes the staff are polite and friendly but thats just to gain your trust and sell you a car. Once you drive off in your car they don't care.

Buying a car from Dace Motors was a really simple and easy procedure and they even arranged the finance for me and allowed me to use their computer to check how much my insurance would cost. However once we had signed on the dotted line Dace Motors no longer wanted to know us. They couldnt give me a delivery date for the vehicle and every day I had to call to see if I could collect the vehicle. After I collected the vehicle I realised that the parking assist did not work and also the clutch was making a funny noise. I spent two weeks trying to get hold of the salesperson who had sold me the car to be constantly told he would call me back but never did, during this time I tried to minimize my use of the car to prevent any further damage. Eventually I asked to speak to a manager to be told they didnt have one but managed to speak to somebody who arranged for the service department to call me back. I cant fault the service department who promptly returned by call and arranged for the car to be booked in the following week this meant for three weeks I only had minimum use of the car and was having to pay £12.50 a week for a bus pass to work. The Saturday before my car was due to go back to Dace motors to be fixed I had to use to visit the local shops about 2 miles away unfortuatly on the way there the clutch completly went leaving me stranded at the side of the road. I phoned Dace Motors who told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to arrange to have the car brought to them. This cost me £90 for a tow truck which all could have been avoided had they called us back at the start. When we bought the car we were told that they would also include 12 months TAX but due to the car still having a tax disc they gave us a cheque made payable to the PO instead to cover the cost. We have now just had the tax renewal and found that the cheque they sent only covers 6 months and not the 12 months that was agreed as per the paperwork I have contacted Dace Motors about this but guess what. I am waiting for them to call me back. Currently my car has cost nearly an additional £250 never mind the amount of time and inconvience caused. I have sent an email to Dace Motors regarding this but have not recieved a reply. My advice would be dont buy a car from here. It may be cheap but will end up costing you more in the long run.

I purchased a car a month ago on the basis the private reg would be removed before I could collect the car. I did not expect to wait another 4 weeks, only when I mentioned I would cancel order, did they offer the option of signing a disclaimer to allow me to collect the vehicle, but I am still waiting for V5. I appreciate such admin maybe outside of their control, but what's is in their control is to return a phone call, I was the one chasing, being told they would ring me back but never did. Even today I phoned their service dept about a potential warranty issue, only to be told they were busy, I specifically asked if someone would ring back today and was advised yes, but guess what no call. Also their PDI is pretty useless, since collecting the car in the first week, I found the battery was insecure and the rear exhaust diffuser is held on with tie clips. I'm open minded enough to know cars do go wrong, but poor customer service is a choice a dealer makes.

I bought a jaguar from them about 2 months ago from the start they were very slow they never answer the phone when they did they promise to call you back but did. even the HP company told me the same when they tried to. was told my tread in was a right off in 1998 the car was a 2002 was not even on the road then not very good at their maths . I was jaguar train motor engineer told me the clutch just gone so they replace that and service the car. Not a good service as that did not even oil the door locks so have my doubt they did the clutch now was there for 7 days as well I did them in a day most 2 days. Told me they get the window rubbers done but did not. I asked were the rubbers was told there on order still not got them in (still not phoning back) good car but very poor service if any service at all given and I not call there for a car again ( buyer with this in mind )

what a joker you are you reply 18 months after, told you your customer service was slow . i paid for the window rubbers to be done at £233 ponds . Its was done after you took so long to get back to me sorry you did not.

Car had one key.No towing gear as advertised salesman promised to rectify.Nobody at Dace will speak to me. They have taken the money Not delivered the goods. Dace do not want to knom
