“Everes Kitchens are rubbish!”

Written on: 27/04/2013

I bought an Everest kitchen some 5 years ago. The time of fitting was more traumatic and stressful than anything I had experienced before. The service was appalling, the workmanship worse. They arrived to fit a week and a half after I expected them leaving the entire contents of the new kitchen in my living room. Took them 3 weeks to complete. I complained during it to no avail. Their website promises were meaningless. There was no project leadership or supervision on the contracted fitter… Read Full Review

You should write to Company House if they still haven't gone into liquidation and ask that the company remains solvent, on paper at leat, unitil you can resolve it, just keep at Everest who you probably will find are the parent company and have taken on Modern Kitchens liabilities in order for that company to dissolve.

“Appalling customer service in show-room”

Written on: 14/01/2013

My wife went into Everest Kitchens, Guildford, in October 2012. We were due to move house and we were looking for ideas for our next house's kitchen. As it was half-term, my wife had our 8 year old son with her, when she visited the show-room. A middle-aged lady asked her if should could help, my wife said thank you but told here that she was just looking. The lady silently followed my wife and son around the show-room and after a few minutes said to my wife, "there's a clothes shop across the… Read Full Review

“Everest kitchens”

Written on: 06/01/2013

Appalling quality and after sales service for my mother and sister who are inexperienced and went with Everest due to pat sales pitch. Very overpriced in my view for what was fitted. Sink surface was covered in fine scratches but they were fobbed off by manager. Installers damaged their fridge during installation, refused to compensate. Now what is left is general sense of disappointment. Would strongly suggest you do not choose Everest… Read Full Review

“Pushy and intimidating”

Written on: 25/11/2012 by Zeyn (1 review written)

One of the people came round to give a "free estimate" on fitting a new kitchen. The man outstayed his welcome, stayed for upto 2 hours, and tried to pressure my mother to buy now. He proceeded to apply pressure, ringing his manager, trying to guilt her into signin gon the dotted line. Everytime she would say that she would think about it, he would keep saying "The price will go up". He managed to reduce the price from £31000 to £21000 in the two hours he was there, but my mum only wanted… Read Full Review

“5* reviews?? Written by EVEREST”

Written on: 11/10/2012

Yes -Its a beautiful showroom. Yes -The salesmen reel you in and sell you the dream. Yes -You walk away spending more than you thought. And yes you are getting ripped off paying double what you should be paying! Completely overpriced, after service rubbish - Generally just overpriced, shop around and get a second or third quote. Notice how all their reviews online sound similar? We were told by our installers they have each of the staff write one! … Read Full Review

“Everest kitchens ”

Written on: 18/01/2012

Terrible expierence. Over a year to complete - poor communication within company and with me. Poor qulaity finish on door and draw fronts with over half of them needing to be replaced at least once. Everest do not belong to any consumer group so there is no customer support available except from them and management show no care or concern when problems arise. If you care for your home and your finances, read all review sites carefully before letting everest into your kitchen - I wish I had!!… Read Full Review

“We had Everest fit our kitchen on the 2nd Sept 2010...”

Written on: 19/01/2011 by Martin Wills (1 review written)

We had Everest fit our kitchen on the 2nd Sept 2010 still not completed to our satisfaction.
fitters use to arrived at 10am make tea sit in van (which was old and rusty not a like the nice red van in the advert )
They did not want to remove the old tiles, we had 3 different electric sockets they broke a cross bar in right hand corner unit, which was only discovered 3 days later, they cut to much out of the top bar of the left hand unit, the shelf under the sink was so hacked about it left… Read Full Review

“We had a bad experience (to say the least) with...”

Written on: 19/09/2010

We had a bad experience (to say the least) with Everest Kitchens 2 years ago. We had an absolute nightmare from start to finish. It is too long a story but we had wrong appliances delivered, wrong size cupboards fitted, appliances left in our dining room for weeks on end, bad, bad, management, no-one seems to communicate with each other, no-one wants to speak to you if there's a problem.. The fitters were lazy, forever sitting and drinking tea, and I had to make a complaint about the mess of… Read Full Review

“Everest Kitchens, or as in my own mind they should be...”

Written on: 17/06/2009 by ijsol (1 review written)

Everest Kitchens, or as in my own mind they should be called "Everstressed" have just completed a kitchen nightmare for us. It has taken them 655 days and 2 kitchens to do so. They used shoddy subcontractors to install the first kitchen, not the dedicated skilled team of Everest's own personel that they promised and advertised on their slick sales pitch.. Everything that could go wrong did so, and Everest could not have cared less.
The wrong doors were delivered. The wrong hob, the wrong… Read Full Review

“Everest Kitchens advertise with a glossy brochure...”

Written on: 17/05/2009 by luke1rhys (1 review written)

Everest Kitchens advertise with a glossy brochure stating " Fully bespoke and made-to-order for the specific requirements of you and your home". Nothing could be further from the truth.
Made to order would mean all units pre-made and then fitted.
WRONG
There is nothing bespoke about their kitchens, they are standard size units made to fit on site, usually by adding infil panels.
Their salesperson promises you the earth, but once having signed on the dotted line, all they want is your money.
The… Read Full Review
