Typical Peugeot Money Making Venture
I have had a 250 geopolis for 4 years - first you find that the only place you can get it serviced is by peugeot as the change oil warning light will not stop flashing then there is the little matter of going down hill and after two applications the front break fails and the left brake leaver is not good enough on its own to stop you then there is the little matter of getting the spark plug out ( you need to elongate the hole in the body work to get your socket to it ) and if after all this you still want one beware the steering bearings wear out for a past time costing £430 to have it fixed.

Extremely Reliable Peugeot Geopolis 250 Exec Scoot
Extremely reliable Peugeot Geopolis 250 Exec scooter, with large diameter 16 inch diameter wheels, with built-in immobilizer, ABS-braking as standard and ABUS chain with built-in lock on the scooter. Immobilizer drains the battery which initially resulted in failure to re-start on short journeys. I now have the battery on trickle-charging when scooter not in use and I no longer suffer any starting problems. Fuel consumption is low at around 70 MPG on short journeys around town. Paintwork very good with splendid sunset red (orange) colour. Storage space under the seat is useful, enough for 2 crash helmets (jet type or smaller but NOT full face). I give only three stars for value for money as price I paid (£3800) was slashed down to £3000 just after I bought it. Uses the excellent 244 CC 4-stroke single cylinder engine from Piaggio/Vespa group. Oil consumption extremely low. Handles really well for a scooter, better than small diameter wheel scooters.
