Since I purchased the dishwasher 18 months ago the door needs replacing for the fourth time, the element has been replaced, the pump has been replaced, the facia has broken several times and the salt dispenser has never worked, despite seven attempts to do so.

Please don't make the same mistake we did - stay away fom this machine!

Very disappointed. Had door replaced 3 times so far due to it cracking.

Used for 18 months and had no problems. Works every day, holds 4 plates and a few glasses etc. Would be nice to be larger, but at the end of the day its only a small table top machine. After 18 months its started to give me a few problems, hopefully a good clean out will fix that. Build up of crud seems to be a common problem. Spares are easily available from the net if required. And, if it gives out any time soon I wont be annoyed, it was cheap to begin with and I didnt expect it to last 18 months. Cant complain about it at all.

Literature says it will hold four place settings. But it will not hold 10" dinner plates. Basket platform has many gaps, preventing washing anything but plates in the sections for plates rendering over half the area unusable for glasses, cups, etc. Cutlery basket far too small - will not hold four settings. Takes over two hours for a normal wash and dry cycle, but does not fully dry the contents. Used for only one day, being returned, so can not rate durability. Service is good, as supplier has provided a return code.

this Kenwood KDW4TTSL COUNTERTOP dishwasher is the 4th one we have owned in 3 years

The first two were Cookworks (manual clock) it stuck on wash for 5 hours ruining our wedding glasses, the second stuck on wash for 3 n half hours ruining some plastic beyond use again.

The 3rd was a kenwood ( digital clock) and its pump shorted out tripping the electric in the house ( fortunately we were home within 5 hours to turn power back on (kept tripping over a week so)

This one 4th has flooded our kitchen ruining the lino and now last night tripped the electric.

We just want one that works please................and is reliable....
