I was resting with his wife in the hotel Coral Sea Imperial (Sharm, Egypt) in the period from 11 to April 18, 2010 under All Inclusive, Standard Room Sea view (operator: Coral Travel). The hotel has two restaurants, serving guests at the "Swedish table , Pharaoh and Tiran. Both restaurants offer the same set of dishes, but they differ in both interior and quality service. My wife and I have been visiting the Pharaoh restaurant, because we were very uncomfortable with the level of service in the Tiran restaurant, especially sticky from the already stuffy dirt floor.
I would like to bring your attention to an unfortunate incident, the blame for which has to be taken entirely by the hotel.
On Friday, April 16, 2010, lunch time, we were not allowed to enter the restaurant by Pharaoh employees with the words "only for Italian people". The ban on entry to the restaurant was applied to all guests who stayed under "all inclusive" conditions, in particular the Russian-speaking visitors. I asked about the reasoning of such a ban, but I did not receive a satisfactory answer. Considering this event as a case of segregation on the basis of nationality, I filed a complaint to the hotel through the reception and also through the guide of the Coral Travel company. I suggested to the hotel to recall the order on allocation of Pharaoh restaurant in the exclusive use by tourists from Italy, and to apologize to all those who had been insulted by this discriminatory order.
Both of my suggestions were ignored. In the evening, same day, one could see a poster at the entrance to the restaurant Pharaoh written in both English and Russian telling that the restaurant "is busy", and forwarding the guests to the Tiran restaurant. The announcement has not indicated that Pharaoh serves only Italians, but it was clear without any ads, as the Italian guests were passed in a restaurant without hindrance.
According to my information, other tourists from the CIS also filed their complaints to representatives of the hotel and their guides from the Coral Travel and Teztour. These and possibly other complaints by tourists led the administration to abandon the hotel discriminatory measures next day, but nobody from the hotel administration did apology.

Pathetic member of staff/shop owner(Sammy, a shop owner) ruined a lovely fortnight. We will not be coming back as he tried to treaten my son. Had that happened in the UK 'Sammy' would be in hospital. Pathetic, all over a 'sheesha pipe'. (He tried to extort money from my son sayin he had especially ordered him a sheesha pipe, that he was going to charge 1200 Egyptian £! What a joker. If we do come back the 1st thing we will do is make sure he is not there for the time we spend there. Sort your staff out. A great shame as all the other facilities & staff were excellent. It only takes the one idiot to ruin a holiday.

The Coral Sea Imperial staff are really helpful and friendly, every evening when we got back to our hotel, our room was nice and clean and there was always a lovely shape made out of our towel.
We cant wait to show the rest of the family how much fun you really have!!

This was one of the best holidays I have had. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good if slightly repetitive. The pools and beach areas were excellent The main pool was still cold, but it was only February. If you enjoy joining in with the fun and games, the Animation team were the friendliest I have known. All in all a most enjoyable holiday at the Coral Sea Imperial, Sharm El Sheikh.

I wish we could give you a higher score than 10 out of 10, the Coral Sea Imperial deserves it.
What can I say? Its fantastic. We went in January 2009 and the temperatures were in the high 20s or low 30s absolutely perfect. The hotel is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The rooms were lovely, the facilities excellent. We will be back to the Coral Sea Imperial again this year.
A map in every room would be useful showing where the facilities are on the hotel complex, it took us a few days to find where everything was. The only bad point about the Coral Sea is the prices in the hotel shops by reception - I felt they were expensive. If I wanted to buy gifts I went down to the "shopping center" by the beach front.

Counting down the days till my 21st- cant wait to go back :) Snorkelling to Tiran island is a must! We got it for £15 each, £20 with the hiring of the equipment.
Also a trip to Na'ama bay is money well spent - wasn't what we expected at all and went again on our second last night! Its very large with loads of wee shops - take english money, they seem to prefer that!
Quad biking through Mount Sinai is also a lot of fun - our trip included an unexpected camel ride- which isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, followed by dinner in a Bedouin tent with entertainment put on by the locals-amazing!
