Oasis of the seas. Wonderfull from start to finish. This is not a cheap holiday but i thought I got alot for my money, We thought if you are going to go on a boat for the 1st time then go on the biggest cruiseliner in the world but that cannot prepare you for the scale it is simply enormous and must be seen even if only from a distance. I loved wandering around exploring, although fully booked (there were i think 6000 people on board) i could find plenty of places to relax. The few points i would raise are maybe to be expecteed from a floting city! some areas got a little crowded at times e.g. the main kids pool and the windjammer resturant especially. I was not especially interested in the famous west end style shows you always read about on cruises but i got the impression they were fully booked very quickly. we did see some of the water show (without a booking) from a distance, it looked very good but not realy my thing. The ports of call were a little dissapointing Labadee (hati) was just a beach with a very nice complimentry lunch BBQ. mexico we found purpose built shopping ports selling the usual rubbish you find abroad! I do understand you cannot take these ships into the middle of old ports with all the local history as they are about 200 000 tonnes to big! and if you wanted you could pay for excursions. The news will have you believe all captains are drunk and joyriding most of the time! but this is not the case. I felt very safe there was a full evacuation drill before we left. The captain held a question and answer session and i doubt the owners of a 1.4 billion dollar boat would let it wander off into uncharted waters. It was very stable even in open seas almost no movement. Overall i dont think the staff could have done any more, food is 5 star, the ship is simply a wonder of the modern world and the few bad points i noted probably were unavoidable as i dont think you could get the same atmosphers on a smaller ship.

FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First ever cruise so we thought we'd go on the biggest in the world.
Fortysomethings so were a bit apprehensive about the ages of fellow cruisers. We were so wrong in many ways.So much to do onboard for all ages.Shows,Parades,Ice Show. The staff were fantastic and attentive, the food delicous, formal or tons of casual dining places. SO fantastic was this holiday that we are off again this year.
TRUE CRUISE CONVERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
