Terracotta

Terracotta is a great night out and plenty of choice from the selve-service buffet.

This is not your typical school buffet feed yourself it's quite good try it.

Can be rather loud at times but usually this just adds to the Atmosphere.

Terracotta is by far my favorite restaurant to visit. The restaurant itself is really pretty and the atmosphere is really relaxed and cheerful, so it's great for going there with partners, as well as friends and with work. However, it's the food that I really love from here. Terra Cotta does mouth watering oriental style cuisine, that is buffet style, which is great as that means you can eat as much of everything as you like, and you're not limited to one or two dishes, you can have some of everything if you like. The restaurant does traditional dishes that are favorites of everyone, for example the chrispy duck pancakes and dumplings (which i love), but it also does contemporary dishes, such as tepanyaki, which has to be my favorite. Basically, you go to the bar, and pick out a selction of fresh fish/meat/poultry/seafood/noodles/veg that you want, and then you take it to a chef behind the grill and watch as he cooks it infront of you, adding a bit of this and a bit of that, turning it into an absolutaley mouth-watering dish for you to eat, cooked fresh, with fresh produce, right infront of you. After pigging out on all of this delicious food, there is then a choice of desert that you can have, and again, you can have as much as you like. For the healthier people out there, there are a range of fresh fruit salads and jellies, but for the rest of us, there is a magnificent choice of icecreams, chocolate gateaux, cheescake, and battered fruit fritters! mmmm-mmmm! All of this for a really reasonable price! And if thats not enough, the service is absolutaley amazing! Once you've finished your meal, and pushed your plate aside, it is immediately cleared away for you, so there are no dirty dishes and glasses left to pile up on your table as happens in some restaurants. There are also always waiters close at hand to get you another beverage or help you out with anything you need. Absolutely my favorite restaurant ever. I honestly cannot think of a bad point for this restaurant. I have been going there for years, and I love it. Overall, an absolutely wonderful restaurant with wonderfully mouth-watering authentic oriental food, that is made from fresh produce. The restaurant is also buffet style, so that means your not limited to eating just the dishes that you have ordered, but you can try absolutely everything in in the restaurant, and belive me, there are lots of dishes to try. Excellent food, brilliant service, wonderful atmosphere.. what more can I say?
