“Problems with getting a refund for a cancelled event”

I am still waiting for my refund for a cancelled event more than 43 days after applying for the refund. Customer never responds to email enquiries about the refund. I would rather not go to an event than buy tickets from this company

“Avoid using Gigantic Tickets.”

They keep “their booking fees” if a performer cancels. I lost nearly £30, and a friend lost over £100 when they refused to refund the booking fee. Absolute shambolic joke of a company.

“Faultless customer service”

I bought tickets through Gigantic for a gig just before the pandemic hit back in 2020. Since then the gig has been rescheduled numerous times, and I have had a disaster at home. I had opted for physical tickets - which were sent out many many moons ago. The rescheduled gig is now 4 days away, I'm living away from home (my home is uninhabitable at present) & I realised that I have no clue where the tickets are. They could be in the uninhabitable house, they could be in storage, they could be anywhere... I found my original purchase email and got in touch with Gigantic - they very swiftly resolved the problem with no fuss. A perfect resolution & wonderful customer service. Faultless!

We have bought a number of tickets from Gigantic over the years and have always found them to be nice, reliable and an easy company to deal with. Recently, however, we needed to contact them directly for the first time after they informed us of a change of date to a gig we had booked. Knowing how difficult this has been with other companies, I prepared for the worst but couldn’t be more surprised! I spoke to a great guy who was so helpful and sorted everything out so quickly and got a refund sorted out straight away! Also managed to get in a bit of craic about the latest bands to see on tour, including some pretty cool artists and bands… this is what we need from ticket companies, not waiting months and having to send dozens of emails to companies who don’t care. So Gigantic you have restored my faith in ticket agencies… you are by far the nicest and the coolest and will be our first port of call for all of our gig needs in the future. Absolutely recommended!

“JOKE”

This company is a joke, please please please avoid. I bought tickets to a festival back in 2019, it was cancelled for two years running and I have just found out (5 weeks before the event) that it is back on. We now have a baby and don't have the camper van (which I bought a special camper ticket for). This horrendous company will not refund the tickets, supposedly they sent an email a few weeks ago saying there was a deadline for ticket refunds which I have not got, and I have searched my emails religiously.  As a new family, we could really do with the ticket money being refunded, but Gigantic tickets are just a nightmare to deal with. You email them and are lucky if you get a reply in 7 days, they do not read the previous emails.  I don't know how a company like this can get away with being so poor at customer service, please don't buy tickets from Gigantic, you can get mostly the same tickets with other companies, which are much better to deal with.

“Tickets never showed ”

“Celine Dion ticket ”

Paid for 2 Celine Dion tickets. When tickets arrived realized id paid over £300 in charges.the tickets only have a ticket price of £120 Each. What a rip off

“Shambles, unreliable, disorganised! ”

Bought 5 tickets to see Justin Bieber through gigantic. A week before the concert the tickets still had not arrived. Rang the customer service number, who told me that the tickets had gotten lost in the post and they would arrange for collection at the o2. Day of the concert get to the o2 box office where they told me they had no tickets from either Gigantic or under my name.. Luckily the AMAZING staff at the o2 sorted it out for me and managed to track down the booking and give me my tickets. Will never buy off Gigantic again! Unreliable.

“Great customer service,quick problem solution!”

Was bit worried when was left only couple days to the Gig and I still haven't received my tickets. By checking my accaunt I found out that tickets was dispatched month before. Had to contact the gigantic team,it took me less the minute to solve the problem,to cancel previous ticket and arrange duplicates to the box office! Lady on the phone was polite and helpful! And they proved I can trust them( on what I was on doubt in the beginning as was ordering from them first time)

Excellent on-line information regarding the booking and tickets - even on the day of the concert, a new email arrived regarding standing availability; and the advice regarding arriving early to secure the unreserved seating was a great addition.... John Grant - wow, what a performance! His voice carried effortlessly across the standing masses to my seat on the back row; he adapted his style well to fit with the large student audience, compared to his performance at Liverpool Philharmonic several days earlier. A great variety of style and tempo of music, something for everyone, old (me, I'm 56) and young.... His band were excellent too, a great combination of ability and flare. His support, Soley, was haunting and interesting. The venue was perfect for a great evening; thank you, Gigantic, for facilitating the best concert I have senn & heard for a long time.....

“Customer service NOT helpful, never received the tickets!”

I am extremely disappointed in this compagny. I had bought tickets exactly one month in advance for a show in London. They said they would dispatch the tickets "at least 10 days prior to the event" which they did not since I received an email 9 days prior to the event (which you can agree is still okay, but you will see how this is a problem) saying my tickets had been dispatched and would be with me within 5 working days. I received an email on a friday (for the show the next sunday) and 5 working days would be the next friday, so I had NO reason to worry... Evidently, I did not receive the tickets on the friday so I tried to contact them, but not answer... I then sent emails asking to be refunded, but their answer was that I should have contacted them 2 days before the event: but how should I have contacted them since my tickets were SUPPOSED to arrive on the friday and they are closed on weekends............. I then had a very useless exchange of emails with a manager... I am so disappointed.. What's the point of buying tickets ONE MONTH before an event if they only send it barely a week before?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

“Where are my tickets”

This company is a joke, the charge you a handling fee and then fail to actually handle the tickets. I have yet to receive my tickets as apparently the promoter has still yet to send the, but another set I brought from an other company arrived already. there only comment is that if the tickets failed to arrive they will "see what they can do for me" NOT good enough. Seeing that the tickets are a birthday present I'm pretty hacked off with this can't be ass to do our job attitude coming from this rip of of a company but advise use an other company. This one will take your money and do nothing to supply a service.

“Worst company I've ever bought tickets from.”

They never even attempted to deliver the tickets, and when I questioned them about this, they outright lied about attempts that had been made to deliver the tickets. Their customer service is truly awful, and bordering on outright rude. If you ever have a choice, do not buy tickets from this company! You will be expected to pay for services that you never receive and have to spend hours on the phone to premium phone lines, trying to establish exactly where your tickets have got to.

Thankfully, though, the person from the customer services department settled my issue very quickly and nicely -- and I was so grateful that I decided to write this review!
