i didnt like having the newborn in the coocoon it was arkward to get in and i found that in busy times or if i had to get on the bus with the pram baby would get knocked accidently and bumped as they were at the height of peoples bags and they were covered from view and people had no idea they were down there.
when used in newborn and toddler mode its easy to acces the basket and its a good size ,its harder to reach and less space when you have 2 toddlers in.
as my child out grew the cocoon i liked the pram a lot more it meet all my requirements , i could get the bus, it was compact for town and busy shops and fitted easily in my partners small car boot
the brake on the handle took a while to get used to not accidently knocking it, as it does slam the breaks on quite hard and quickly.in a stationary position its excellent very sturdy and secure and easily engaged and disengaged
unlike the older phil and teds model the vibe folds with the double kit in place, this did take some effort at first but once you get used to doing it its not a problem,if a guest was to be taking your children for a day out etc they may find it difficultyou have to make sure you get everything in the right place, handle bar and wheel, or it wont fold in fully or lock.
the double seat is removed with a easy clip and once removed the single pram will just fold simply in half and lock easily
i loved the huge sun canopy hood it can be moved to lots of positions to shade baby or keep the rain off if you forget your raincover
once the children are in there is little space to recline so they dont sleep as well in this as they do in other prams.
both my toddlers like to walk alot more so the youngest will go in the main seat and either toddler can just climb in the back if they get tierd
even if i use the pram when im on my own with baby i leave the double seat on , you can fit loads of shopping in it!!

Brought phil and teds vibe, when my baby was just born.He didnt last in the cacoon very long.2 months. The break is very annoying, suddenly comes on when your walking by touching the button. The seat behind is not big enough for the child to sit in it,the head touches the bar.The wheels are to wide i found my self miss judging things due to the wheels being wider than the pram. Not a easy push chair to lift in car.
Easy to push,looks great.

We bought this just prior to our second child being born - we previously had a bugaboo cameleon. We felt it was the best looking and most practical solution for 2, especially 2 children under 2.
We loved our bugaboo - this is a world away from a bugaboo, but once you get over the extra weight, width and force required to push and turn we felt it was OK (and yes it's always going to be different going for a single to double)
My issue is after 6 months use the front wheel has developed an incredible shake, it does not track on the pavement at all and wobbles, judders and shakes to the point you can't steer it, and will certainly not relax or induce sleep on any child.
Phil and Teds have said they will look at it and if there is a fault repair it. We have to courier it to them at our expense and its likely to be 14-28 days to repair. No interest in how we are supposed to manage without a buggy and when pushed fall back on their legal obligation - no customer service (retailler included)

The Phil & Ted Vibe Inline Doubles Kit is Great for toddler and newborn - especially if you get the cocoon. Problem is cocoon lasts about 3 or 4 months and toddler seat can't be used until 6 months. Doubles kit looks great but extra seat isn't tall enough which means the younger child draws the short straw and their head/neck rests on the bar at the top of the seat - not great. Main pushchair good. Sun hood gets in the way of the pushbar and doesn't shield second seat

I agree with this review because...I have the Sports doubles kit and have exactly the same problem with my toddler banging her head on the bar and looking really uncomfortable.....
