“My husband and I visited Africa for the first time in...”

★★★★★

written by on 23/09/2008

My husband and I visited Africa for the first time in August this year for our honeymoon. We were apprehensive at first, not knowing what to expect. We decided to go with Aim 4 Africa - a relatively new company based in UK but who have strong links in Kenya and Tanzania. They came well recommended by people who had been previously. We visited Maasai Mara, Samburu, Selous, Ruaha and Saadani over three weeks. Although we spent a minimum of 3 nights at each, we wished we could have stayed longer. The itinerary was perfect, our accommodations (tented camps in most parts) were superb and we will definitely want to go back again when we have saved enough! Saadani was a magnificent place to end our stay - the combination of safari and beach was superb. Aim 4 Africa is one of the only companies we have seen that organize tours to this place, it was not crowded (as we understand Zanzibar tends to be). Our guides in all the parks we visited were incredible, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We got to see the big 5, the migration and a lot of birds, trees and insects (yes, even the little things that people often pass undetected). We did a walking safari, a couple of boat safaris, ballooning and night drive. We also got to visit a few villages as part of a cultural program - good to see how much positive development is going into helping local communities thrive.
So, for us, East Africa is the place we would certainly recommend and the company we chose to book with exceeded our expectations from the very initial planning stages.

Aim 4 Africa gave us great planning and pre-holiday advice; Superb services with top guide, quality accommodations and great vehicles. Serengeti and Ruaha were our favourites followed by Pemba island. Great honeymoon - Aim 4 Africa made our dreams come true! We would definitely recommend them to anyone planning their honeymoon to East Africa
Tanzania is a fabulous country, and going with a professional company like Aim4Africa ensures everything is taken care of. We had the best guide, vehicle, lodges and camps and our overall impression was that we would certainly want to return in a couple of years!

“We booked our holiday to Tanzania and Uganda a year...”

★★★★★

written by Emma Mars on 16/12/2008

We booked our holiday to Tanzania and Uganda a year ago. Nancy at Aim 4 Africa was very prompt with responding to our numerous questions.
Great recommendations for safari spots - Bwindi. QE and Kibale in Uganda, then Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Taringire in Tanzania.
The highlights were the gorilla trek, balloon safari in Serengeti and staying in the treetops lodge in Taringire.
Aim 4 Africa were exceptional and we have already recommended them to our friends and family.

Kilimanjaro trek was excellent - superb guides and professional advice. We made it to Uhuru Peak in 5 days, then took a day and half to descend - fabulous experience.
The safari - Serengeti was great, Ngorongoro Crater a bit crowded, but we got to see the black rhino which was a bonus. Did a canoeing safari and night game drive in Manyara - both good experiences. Trekked with maasai in Olmoti Crater and visited Tarangire too. Great accommodations, mainly stayed at smaller tented camps as we preferred these to the larger more ostentatious lodges

We travelled wtih Aim 4 Africa last Christmas to Serengeti, Maasai Mara, Samburu and Ngorongoro Crater. They were absolutely fantastic in their response, first hand knowledge of the area, superb recommendations. We had a super Christmas in Tanzania. Returning in Feb 2009 with them to the Serengeti to witness the great migration and staying in a fabulous tented camp which looks great in the photographs! Cant wait to return!!!
