“Absolutely horrendous”

I joined this organisation after seeing a link to their tariffs and rates online, which offered highly competitive discounted rates. Upon filling the information out and porting my number over, it took four attempts for my number to eventually be transferred over as each time doing it on their online platform failed. As a result I had to pay another month's payment to my existing provider, and when I contacted the company they acknowledged the multiple attempts made but believed they were not at fault. therefore I've no idea who's up fault for their system not working. I put that behind me as just a problem with transferring that sometimes happens, and then started getting voicemails when the phone hadn't run and repeated text from people advising they could not get hold of me it was going straight to answer phone. again this company don't see an issue with this and it means that I've now requested a PAC code to leave them because they are absolutely horrendous and I cannot deal with the shocking level of incompetence from them.

“Sham”

Bought a card and used it for a couple minutes. 3 weeks later go to use I'd again and £4.50 has gone. My card has expired. Attempted to call customer service nd it sent me to voicemail charging me £5 for the call. Please boycott them. I will NEVER ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO USE THIS CARD AGAIN! There are no positives.

Just bought a £5 calling card and when I try to make a call, it tells me pin number doesn't work.. How??? Do not waste your money... funny thing is many years back this used to be a legit company, I used them plenty of times without issues.. but now... SO SAD.. Update. I've just tried the card again and guess what, it now tells me my card has no credit.. I haven't even used it.. this should be illegal..

“No Value For Money”

Every time I use this card it disappoints me, firstly the minutes it says it offers us not what eventually, you get far much less Secondly it forces you to use the card all at once because if you have anything left after use use it once you can bet your life after 2 weeks they take back the credit. I see them as  something to make money. When you purchase something it belongs to you so what right have they to take back what’s left on your card. I had £1.70 left on my card and when I decided to use the card it had £0.90, another time I was told that my card had expired and I had the card for just over 2 weeks. It’s very frustrating and unfair and need to be examined by Trading Standard

I feel like I have been robbed by Talk Home. I bought 2 of your cards at the beginning of July. I used one of the card in July partly etc. I scratched the back of the 2nd card to make a call abroad on 27/09/2018, the pin on the back of my new card is not recognised and the customer's helpline does not exit. I emailed Talk Home on that day to make a complaint, no one responded to my email. One would have expected credits on these cards to have lasted much longer especially if the cards are not used at all. Lessons learnt... do not use or recommend this company to friends or family. Used other the services of other companies like Rebtel.

“Why on earth would a company previously trusted by so...”

Why on earth would a company previously trusted by so many feel it's okay to treat customers badly? If a card states to offer over 200 minutes and then after only 30 minutes it cuts off to announce 'credit remaining 1 pence' it just screamsbad treatment! Worse still, when you try to ring customer service the line goes unanswered. I started the card at at £4.25. I was in the middle of a very emotional phone call and this is not the first time I've checked remaining credit to read pence after a brief call......Clearly someone has realised that treating customers like this £3 of the card they're on their way to a very healthy bank account which is very hurtful.

“Rubbish”

“Customer service very bad”

I bought a talk home phonecard .when tried to use it second I could not use it .All I get phone customerservice and refer to problem 24 .but their customer service does not exist.

“fraudulent”

I bought a £5 card thinking it would give me free calls to my friend France. I made several attempts to call my friend but in the end only left a message. I was charged £7 on my landline bill!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CARD

“Talk home card-don't waste your money”

I bought this card to call Sierra Leone. Dialled the local access numbers, and each time the phone rings, as soon as the call is picked up, the call is disconnected and money deducted. This happen till all £5 was gone without actually talking to anyone.

“Don't waste your time”

I used this card to call a Zimababwe mobile number. Bought the card for £5. I spoke for exactly 11minutes 40seconds and the card had only 67pence remaining. I would not recommend it to anyone. This is a rip off. It's better to use other cards

“Says 400 mins get 40 mins”

I have topped up my Talk Home Card on the last three occasions. On all occasions it has stated that I would receive 400 mins for my £5.00 payment,as I was using a land line phone, instead I received 40 mins. I have contacted Talk Home but they do not want to know. So be careful!

“RIP OFF SERVICE”

Last year we bought 4 cards in the same day and we didnt receive any pin and all the money gone from my card and today am i stupid? I bought it again and no pin received;you can find other ways of taking money out of people;I want my pin wich i paid for it,if not i will put everything on youtube to make the people understand how good robbers you are.

“Hopeless ripoff!”

What a ripoff this card is, it took several attempts to make a call and quality was well below standards. On top of that the card expired after 30 days - I'll be certainly looking elsewhere but please so do you, don't waist your money in here!

“Waste of money”

I bought 2 UKP5 Talk Home cards on the 21st December to call the USA from Oxford. Took several tries to get through to the access number. When through there was a message saying that I had 1,000 minutes for the USA call. After only a few minutes using the first card there was a message saying all credit used up. Thought that there must have been a problem with that card but exactly the same happened the second time. Paying the regular rate instead of Talk Home would have been cheaper.

“Rip off talk home card”

Brought a £5 card with 1000 minutes! Never got 1000 minutes. Less than 100minutes Why not be honest with the charges.It is a rip off just be careful before you waste your £5.

True they are a rip off and if you buy it online they can send you your pin after 2 days and sometimes you will be wanting to use it for an emergency... they say it has 1000 minutes but you only get 300 seconds and that's 5 minutes

“Useless customer service”

Purchased a £10 phonecard from this company (on-line). Tried calling USA and also Pakistan. In both cases , on dialling the intended number (after access number and minutes left voice) there was no ringtone at all, ie.no connection - trouble is, you are charged each time this happens, so the remaining minutes gets less and less despite no actual call being connected. Contacted the company by email (no reply) and then by phone - no help at all, kept telling me I'd made calls, would not accept no actual call connection.Quite rude and uncaring manner also. Will never use again.

“Unreliable and no customer service”

I have been using Talk Home for awhile but always have problems. Sometimes the access number doesn't work and other times they tell me the pin never is invalid when it is the same pin I have used for ages! I tried to call their customer service team but hung up after being on hold for 15 mins. We not be topping up again or using them ever again. I would not recommend using them, much better options out there.

“Okay but confusing at first ”

When I first got the card I thought I'd be getting 5000mins as advertised on the home page of the website however, the call minutes actually depend on which access number you call. I called the freephone as the others cost money,this meant I got 1200 minutes instead. When I used it again I called from the local access number which meant I had more minutes but it cost me more than what it was worth so I stuck with the freephone. The rates were still better than anything else I could find but they need to be clearer about what minutes you're actually getting. (Check the rates page instead of looking at the ones on the home page - these ones are the maximum minutes, not what you'll actually get)
