Medical emergency

No compassion We took out the two days protection for delays but it seems if you have a medical emergency and your wife is in hospital that doesn’t count. You don’t seem to be able to talk to a person we arranged to have our car picked up 3 to 4 days after the collection time so we paid on a new booking for an extra 4 days and was charged as much as my original booking for 12 days Will never use again

Support Telephone numbers incorrect

My flight home from Poland was delayed by 18 hours so I needed to extend my parking at Stansted. You cannot do this via the app, only by phone. But when you call the number it advises you that the number doesn’t exist. I tried 2 others from the website and got the same again. Easy to book via the app but nothing else!!

Delta Hotels by Marriott with hotel parking

Really impressed with this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was impeccably clean, quality food and the airport transfer worked really well. Would definitely use this hotel again in the future and thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering them! Brilliant!

Total disaster

Got to the airport 3 hours before my flight. Then spent an hour, literally an hour, driving around and around T3 multi-storey car park looking for a space. It was totally over subscribed, the only way of getting a space was to follow the handful of people getting back to the car park with luggage back to their car. The second I eventually got lucky and found one, went to my boot, opened it and four - yes four - other desperate cars came flying over to ask if I was going, it was that bad. If I’d done my usual thing of getting to the airport just in time I’d have missed the flight. It’s very handily located but it might as well be on the runway if it’s got more cars than spaces in it. Cars were abandoned in aisles, queues forming back out onto the road, desperate people trying not to have their holidays ruined. I pulled over and tried to book another car park, couldn’t be done. A terrible start to the holiday caused by the very organisation that’s supposedly making it easier.

Premier inn newcastle airport

As always premier inn is just what you expect clean tidy and comfortable. Food in the restaurant attached was to a good standard and fairly priced. If you have a early flight I highly recommend as just a 2 min drive to airport long stay carport and only 5 min walk from there to the terminal.

Meet and Greet Stansted

Love this service, straightforward and convenient. Park your car, drop your key and away you go. Staff are friendly even through they are incredibly busy. Return....pick up keys and car is safe and sound. What's nor to love.

Airport parking, OK but expensive

I used the Airport parking feature (Mid-stay, Stanstead), as I have for several years now. The cost is getting more and more expensive - a quarter of the cost of the flights, in our case. I haven't had any problems with Holiday Extras - they take your money, you park, fly out, fly back and pick up your car - not a difficult process. I have been lucky. I dont know what they would be like if there were any problems involved with the flight or car and the only way to leave a really accurate review would be to see what they would be like if there WERE problems

Always Had Excellent Service

We have used Holiday Extras for years to arrange our meet and greet parking at Stansted airport. So easy to arrange, great value for money and never had any problems ar all. All their staff are always friendly, polite and helpful.

Extremely Poor Service – Avoid!

We had a terrible experience. On arrival, there weren’t enough staff to collect the cars — we had to park up and queue for 25 minutes behind four other families just to hand ours over. When we finally spoke to the gentleman, he insisted on taking a photo of us, which we later realised was for his own phone — apparently for extra commission. That means my and my family’s photo is now on a stranger’s phone without proper consent. Completely unacceptable and invasive. On our return, we followed instructions and called the number as soon as we had our luggage, but were told we’d called too early (despite being told to ring after collecting bags and clearing customs). We were then made to call again 30 seconds later, and told to wait five minutes before coming out — but the driver didn’t arrive for another 30 minutes. It was 3:30 AM, and once again, they blamed it on not having enough drivers. Awful communication, long delays, and completely unprofessional behaviour. Would never use again.
