It is always a risk to book a car on internet in advance but we have no regret to book by Bon Voyage India.
We stayed in India from 14 december 2008 till 9 december 2009.
The answers on every e-mail came very quickly.
We booked for a Toyota Quilis, but we got a Toyota Innova with much more comfort and space.
Our 2nd driver was good and friendly and no complains of getting up early every morning. He did not drive to fast and we feel very safe in the car.

We recommend Bon Voyage India to everybody.

We have spent around 3 weeks in India with Bon Voyage India and now we caught an overnight train down to Mumbai, where we are due to fly out. The train ride was again a memorable journey. Spending a day and a night with the same people in a carriage, always turns out to be entertaining. This is good in a way as we realise that the rest of the country is not like it and Mumbai is no exception. It is so much more wealthy than elsewhere but there is still the very poor living in the streets. We stayed in Colaba and only had one night to stay. We spent our time wandering along the waterfront and doing some last minute shopping. We had a fantastic but pricey lunch
Overall we have loved India. There is just so much to the country, that it is hard to put it into words as to why we love it. There are also many things that were pretty horrible about India, such as cows blocking up the sides of the road, or the pollution in most cities, or the touts that hassle you to death. But every country has its negatives, and India is definitely a country that it is worth putting up with all the crap to be able to appreciate all the many wonderful aspects. We enjoy the fort/palaces of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer desert, Taj Mahal, Khajuraho Temple, Ganges and services of Bon Voyage India without any problem. They make our trip easy no need to do any hassle for hotels, car and they also save us from touts. We don't have any complain against them and we also don't have any problem to recommend them to others. Thank you Bon Voyage India

My husband and I decide, we should celebrate our Honeymoon in India. We contacted a few travel agencies to see what they had to offer and Bon Voyage India was one of the first to respond. The one who designed an itinerary that most closely met our wish-list, and on top of all that was best value for money. In preparation and during of our trip they was in constant contact by phone and email and really put us at our ease. From start to finish we were never disappointed and everything was carefully planned. Traveling around in a new country can be stressful but thanks to the www.bonvoyageindia.com On arrival in Delhi we were greeted by his efficient and friendly staff and had everything simply laid out for us.

The itinerary was great. We have visited Agra, jaipur, pushkar, jodhpur, ranakpur, mount abu, udaipur and goa. At all the hotels we received the standard of rooms we had requested - which is not always the case when booking a holiday. At Udaipur we stayed at the Lake Palace to celebrate our wedding. This is a huge Palace and every room is special, Restaurant, Lobby and view everything is special. This is real Indian Palace.
Our driver is a wonderful person, well organized and we felt we were in safe hands the entire journey.

They certainly helped to make our stay truly memorable and based on our experience we would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Enjoy holidays in India

“I & my Husband plan our six days trip with Bon Voyage...”

★★★★★

written by charu on 21/10/2008

I & my Husband plan our six days trip with Bon Voyage India. This is our second trip with them. It has been a fantastic trip of Delhi, Haridwar & Rishkesh and I am extremely happy about the Bon Voyage India tour program, travel arrangements, airport transfer, driver and the courtesies.
I wish to thank one and all for the nice arrangements and coordination's. The driver has been excellent in his behavior, cooperation, safety in driving and communications. I appreciate their services. The best thing of the company is they are always ready to hear you before or during or after the tour.
The hotel arrangements at Delhi & Haridwar have been very good. At Haridwar Residency is good. It was near the Ganges. At Delhi, Hotel Connaught is good in a heart of the city & near to tourist places. All arrangements have been excellent. We have very good memories of our trip.
I do not have any problem to recommend them to my friends & other people.
I wish them all the best.
Charu.

Hotel was good in nice & beautiful location. In hotels was good service. (Kingfisher was served straight into room). All connections pick ups and drop offs were organized. And also program was good. We had enough time for everything.

“Prepare for the worse, and hope for the best - that...”

★★★★★

written by dic on 16/10/2008

Prepare for the worse, and hope for the best - that was our motto and it worked. We were quite anxious about visiting India. Everyone from our Indian travel agent to our Indian friends to people we met during our travels warned us to expect a huge culture shock. We anticipated being hassled non-stop and having to constantly keep our guard up as everyone would try to rip us off...never mind the stereotype of India being a dirty place crammed with 1 billion people. How wrong we were. What we found was a laid back, friendly place where people invite you into their home for a chat and some chai. And India was no dirtier than any other country we had been to so far.
One question we kept asking ourselves was - where are the 1.1 billion people that make up the world's most populated country? Despite all those TV images of people hanging off trains and buses, it certainly didn't apply to any of the places we visited, not even the capital city- New Delhi. In fact, New Delhi's subway system is much more modern and efficient than the one we have back home.
Cows are everywhere in India...wandering the alleyways, sleeping on the streets with cars whizzing by, poking their heads into shops to see what food they can find, and even on the railroad tracks! Unfortunately, though the cow is revered as a holy animal in India, they looked a bit neglected and so they are set loose on the streets. Too many times we saw cows eating newspaper, plastic bags and other garbage. Cows looked sickly and many on the verge of death with distended stomachs...a very sad sight.
Our first stop was Delhi Airport where our agent picks us and took us to the hotel. We have booked our 17 days in India with one Indian Travel Agent "Bon Voyage India". Our next step outside Delhi was to Agra to see the magnificent Taj Mahal. Pictures don't do the Taj Mahal justice because it's much more impressive in person.
Rajasthan is a land of forts, because every place that we went to had one. The forts are interesting because they are very elaborate and show how opulent people used to be, which is contrary to what most people, including ourselves, think about India. But trying to get a feel for life back then was difficult because many of the forts have now been turned into museums.
The town of Pushkar had a different atmosphere than the places before it. Because of its holy lake, it's a very spiritual place where people come on pilgrimages. Here, Holy men perform 'pujas' or blessings for people, and offerings are made. Foreigners can also have a puja done, so Amy decided to try it at a sunset ceremony.
Never to turn down a trip into a desert, we took a camel safari to the desert. We expected to rough it, as we had all the other times, but instead we ended up being pampered in a luxurious desert camp. We had a large canvas tent furnished with antique wooden beds, plush mattreses, fine linens, as well as an ensuite bathroom. The most amazing part was that the bathroom had running water and even a flush toilet!
Our last stop in Rajasthan was Bikaner, a place we had been excited about going to long before we arrived in India. The reason was the Karni Mata Temple, a.k.a. the Rat Temple. The temple is famous for its unusual residents - thousands of rats. The rats here are worshipped because they are said to be reincarnations of people from the Charan caste who reside in Rajasthan. In Hindu mythology, the rat is also the traditional vehicle for the elephant-headed Lord Ganesh. As with any temple, you are expected to remove your shoes before entering! We were a bit nervous because we had images in mind of the floor being carpeted with rats, as well as rats running across our feet and up our legs. As we wandered around, we discovered that yes, there were some rats, but it wasn't too overwhelming. We weren't as afraid as we expected to be, mostly because the rats seemed to avoid us and also because a lot of them looked so darned cute! We saw rats scurrying across the floor, climbing the railings and fences, peeking out from holes in the wall, and feeding on the many bowls of grain or milk prepared by devotees in the temple. We had to tread carefully, because a few times we almost stepped on them as th ey ran under our feet. I couldn't avoid them completely though - as I walked through a doorway, a rat ran right over my foot and kept going! Apparently, it's lucky to have a rat run across your feet, but I was more freaked out than happy about the experience. Another lucky sign is seeing a white rat at the temple. You'd think that with thousands of grey rats running around a temple it'd be easy to spot a white one, but not so. After searching high and low, we finally came across the lucky white rat.
At last our trip was great, without any hassle thanks to Bon Voyage India who called us all the time to get feedback. Now you should be happy.
Hope you will enjoy the review and visit India once in a life
Enjoy.

Our trip was really good. One of our friend recommended this company (Bon Voyage India) & we book the Del Agra Jaipur Package with them in the month of July 08 by internet. Response on the net was good & fast. Mostly in a same day. During the tour they offered excellent hotels. Car is also in very good condition but some time we need to instruct the Driver anyway this is happen. Overall we are satisfied with the services of the company.
