I ordered goods from this company online and paid, they advised they did not have stock and i requested a refund. After 4 weeks of not receiving the refund or response to my e mails I went to visit the company

Avoid This Company
I placed an order for furniture work around £1500.00. I had no acknowledgement of my order. A week or so passed and I got a response to my email. Got a response saying they would contact me. Another week passed and the furniture arrived without any warning, just so happened my son was off school. The delivery company they use are awful and the blokes are rude. They sent the incorrect furniture. Again no response for a few days and then an email to say they would contact regarding collection. Did they? NO the same aggressive delivery driver arrived with attitude to collect. I have emailed asking when I will get a refund, I have heard nothing.
Avoid this company if you have any sense, they have no contact phone number and do not answer emails. Their attitude stinks. I dont know how they survive.
I can see I am going to have to fight for my refund!!!
The company have gone into liquidation. I received an email from them before Christmas regarding this but they were still taking people's money. I placed my order on 17/11 and got my refund last week. Don't bother keep ringing because nobody is at the office. A company called buyitdirect have bought them out. Hope this helps someone!

this is a terrible company ,avoid at all costs had a call from them to say they have gone into liquidation , but they still have there web site running still taking peoples money , got my money back as i paid by paypal ,but lost £20 weekend delivery money

I am still getting the following message from these guys.
Thank you for your message, sent on 30/12/2012. We aim to answer all customer queries within 24 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) although replies may take up to 48 hours depending on the volume of enquiries received. Please allow this time before sending another message.
Do Not Give This Company Your Money!
This company went into administration on 12 December having taken mine and many other peoples money. It now looks like the Furniture 123 website is accepting orders again? How can Trading Standards etc allow this to happen? These people need to be held to account for the way they have treated customers over the past few months.
After looking on Companies House online I saw that Furniture123 were the next 'company' of furniture247 ; when one of their fraudulent companies goes bust or things are getting too hot for them they just close one company and open another, happens all the time and it appears no one can stop them; furniture247 have had numerous companies, such as pineonline--until members were jailed, that is.. and various other companies. Multi E Commerce are the ones who are a legitimate company, who of course are all the other companies too!
I've learned my lesson and will now buy nothing online unless they are known to be companies of good repute. With so much internet fraud its not worth taking the gamble, no matter How Good their websites look. Oh and Trading Standards? They really are a JOKE, think they actually give a damn? Their favourite stock answer is that there aren't enough complaints!
They Are A Con And I Advise To Avoid Using This Company
This company deserves to be taken to task by the trading standards....Avoid.....I ordered a bed on the 18 th November on a 15 day delivery.
After 8 emails and no response other than an auto response telling me that I would receive a response within 48 hours to which I have not even received a response to any of my emails and there is no telephone numbe to contact them on.
I have not received my bed, no communication from them and I have now taken action with my credit card.
For your own sanity , do not us this company, I have never felt so strongly about a company before, They need to be shut down.

These fraudsters change companies quicker than blinking and are allowed to get away with it - its shocking. They need to be inside.

Lets Shut Them Down
Furniture123 are absolutely useless and they keep getting away with it. Anyone who is reading this review do not hesitate in reporting them to trading standards. They will not respond to my emails or answer the phone. They have £700 of my money and it's been over 30 days since I placed my order.

Ordered a continental double storage bed and separate mattress in September. Was already wary of the company but this was the only company that sold that particular bed so took a risk. The bed was not delivered within the promised timescale, so having quickly tired of the polite empty promises of the call centre staff in the Philippines I obtained details of a contact in the UK. The person was helpful and as I was unsure whether I had ordererd the correct size mattress due to being confused by the website he checked and confirmed that I had not. As a goodwill gesture he offererd to waive the extra cost of the correct sized mattress and gave me details of when I could expect delivery of the items.
I received the bed on 21st November -some pieces were damaged but I decided that it had taken so long to get it I would not take the risk of returning anything. The mattress is another story altogether -Joe promised I would hear from the haulage company who were to deliver the mattress and that I should receive it week commencing 26th November. That was the last I heard from them and I have yet to receive my mattress.I have now asked for a refund as I need to order a mattress from a company that will actually deliver.However, my phone calls and emails are ignored and I cannot even contact the call centre in the Philippines by telephone.
Perhaps the person who I was speaking to has tired of Furniture 123 and gone to work for a more reputable company or perhaps he has been buried alive by a complaint mountain?!
As I paid by credit card I know I can claim something from the credit card company -I have no idea how to do this and scarcely have the energy to find out.
I am weary of the whole saga and if I had a bed I would go and lie down for a rest!
Really sorry but I don't have a number that you will get to speak to anyone on - have not spoken to anyone or received an email response since I was told my mattress would be delivererd w/c 26th November. Not sure if the company has gone into meltdown?!

Absolutely the worst company it has ever been my misfortune to deal with. If only I had read reviews of this bunch of crooks before I ordered from them.
Essentially, my story echoes countless others you can find online; ordered on 16th Oct (item was listed as being in stock), got a call two days later to say the item was out of stock and wouldn't be available until mid-november. They took my money straight away though....
Mid november came and went but no word from Furniture 123 so I enquired again at the start of December. Got another reply saying the item was still out of stock and they would let me know when it would be back in. Deciding this was unacceptable I asked them to cancel the order and process the refund. Since then I have had no reply whatsoever from them. I have now emailed them four times to ask them to do this but no reply has been forthcoming.
I would try to call them but every time I do I'm put on hold - in one instance for 2hrs 43 minutes before my phone ran out of juice. Luckily for me the company I work for pays the phone bill.
The cynic in my would say that there are no operators there full stop. However, judging by the sheer volume of similar reviews its not surprising that their operators are permanently busy - they must spend every waking moment dealing with disgruntles customers.
I have now given up on this bunch of half-witted, unprofessional, thieving idiots and have instructed my credit card company to peruse them under section 75 so I will get my money back.
By the way - if anyone from Furniture123 reads this, good luck in trying to avoid my bank like you have avoided me - I can guarantee you they will not stop until they reclaim their money.
