I don't know how old our saucespans are but they still look like new. They are brilliant.

I bought a pan set in 2011 when I had an induction hob fitted, but after a year my saute pan started losing its non stick covering at the handle. It was however replaced to my satisfaction. Now the pan lids have fallen off and my husband has stuck them back on ! and the pan handles are all loose. I am terrified that I will drop boiling water or food all over myself. I have tried contacting Imperial with no replies at all. I have contacted the BBC but they cannot help and suggested I write to Endemol, but they only seem to be a production company!! I am going to try one last time to contact Imperial and then go to the press.

I bought a small saucepan with a lid and a non stick frying pan, both claiming to have a 25 year gaurantee. The non stick surface of the frying pan peeled off near where the handle was fixed - at 8 months old I got a refund from the retailer. I still hve the saucepan, the handle is now very wobbly and will leak if too much liquid is put in the pan. I can't find the receipt, nor can I find out who to contact to get the pan replaced. The address to register the product is not the address to contact in case of a problem. It appears that the gaurantee is worthless. I would never buy another ready steady cook product.

I bought 5 saucepans from the bistro range and after 6months the handle of the lids broke away. I had not kept the receipt so could not do anything about it. Would not recommend these as fit for purpose. The bottom of one saucepan buckled.

I bought the wok as it worked on induction hob. It was great at first, then noticed that when it was lifted from the hob to table, it bent out of shape due to the weight of the food and the lid. The rubber handle although a nice feel, also has started to twist on lifting giving a very insecure feel about the whole thing. The non stick surface has started to peel off as well. All food now sticks and extra oil is needed. My advice is to wait for the Aldi £7 wok to be in stock, it is far sturdier with a non stick coating that has already outlasted the ready steady cook wok. Would never buy from the R.S.C. range again, what a let down.

on Sunday 15-5-11. I purchased a (bistro) 5 piece stainless steel cookware set, Today Tuesday 17-5-11 my wife attempted to use two of these saucepans. only to find that only one pan from the set would hold water above the level of the rivets that affix the handles. they appear to be very crudely assembled and totally unfit for service. would prefer to rate them zero stars

i bought the full range of Imperial Ready Steady Cook Bistro Cookware (saucepan range) a year ago and they look as good today as when purchased. The product ticks all the boxes and i am in the process of buying an extra saucepan.
