Eversince i have been using cif i have stopped using anything else. it is d kind of thing that every home maker requires as it minimizes d effort. i have been recommending it to all my aquaintances. however, i would be nice if it is advertised on tv and made easily available in indian market, including kendriya bhandars. thanks for such an awesome product.

I've never been moved to recommend something as dull as domestic cleaner, but Cif Power Cream Kitchen with Active Shield is too excellent not to praise; pricey, but well worth it, as it's a Fairy Liquid type of thing - you only need to use very little, so it lasts forever. I'm a smoker (yes, I'm a bad person), so over time, every surface gets coated with a layer of sticky tar residue and fluff, which takes endless scrubbing and rinsing to get rid of. This cuts through it like a dream, needing only one hot water rinse. The Active Shield thing is, I suspect, some sort of silicone compound, as it leaves a shine on a surface, which makes sticky stuff less likely to ... well, stick. Up til now, I've used Cilit bang, but this blows it out of the water for speed, and it doesn't have that awful acrid smell, like if left on for too long, it'll eat through your leg like acid, a la Alien, heh. I've started to use a slick of it on my PC and TV screens, and my windows, as it seems to keep even dried on stuff like birdy poop come off with a wipe, and doesn't leave smears.
All in all, very impressive - the Cif people haven't chucked out any old thing at high speed in response to Cilit Bang's trumpeting, but have really thought things through, and evidently used the latest chemical doins to make something that works at the coalface.
