I purchased an excellent Samsung S7 edge from the three.co.uk company in March this year, which at the time I thought was a good offer, 30gb of 4g data a month, including tethering (hot spot) to various tablets and laptops in the house, due to the awful current broadband at home (which is 20 miles from the nearest exchange). Good price plans. Reasonable coverage. Sales staff and customer service staff lack the appropriate training and enthusiasm. In car terms this is the car lot level of service, where they are in a market along with the likes of say, Mercedes Benz and Porsche. “Honest review after 5 years of usin”

I'm from Southampton. I use it for at least 5 years now. Used to be good, a year or so ago it was great, now it is just bad I have to admit that between 7am and 5pm i get great download speeds, up to 15 Mbps, really nice. Problem is I'm at work from 8:00 to 16:00. While at work i use my mobile (also from three) with the One plan, and i have to admit I abuse it :D 70Gb of data downloaded a month average (You Tube in HD = 15 to 20MB per minute :)) Problem: I get home at 16:07 :D still getting… Read Full Review

“What the hell is happening?”

What the hell is going on with 3? I started using a 3 mobile dongle some years ago and it was brilliant, both at home and on the move. Now though, a few years down the line, I just use it at home and it is absolutely appalling. I have found that the only time I can get online with few problems is between midnight and 3pm, not very good if you're asleep or out during the day! “What happend exactly?”

I have been on three for around three years, hmm coincidence. started with a 3.6mb dongle which was fine, could get 1.5mbps download all day long, upgraded to a 7.2mbps dongle and again it was fine 3mbps all day long 6mbps on the night. im currently still using the 7.2mbps dongle and for the last month their service has been absolutely appalling, i was expecting there to be work going on the network but a call to customer services verified their was no work happening and it should be… Read Full Review

After almost 3 years of a good service. I can now only access the network in the early hours of the morning. I noticed the change when I came back from holiday ( I was not online for 10 days) Ive been told that this has nothing to do with it. But I wonder. it seems a couple of other people I spoke to have found their previously good connection has caused poor connection when they have had a break. I am also trying to find out if there is a Three user Forum that I can log into

I thought I would update you on my post that I sent early this morning to you about the poor broadband connection.
I left my computer on "sleep" setting when I was on early this morning (1:30 am). I usually log off and then can't reconnect the next day. Anyway Ive restarted from "sleep" setting and I have got a connection this morning. This is the first time I have been able to get onto the network during the day since I came back from holiday on 14th October.

The first review I have written! So appalled by threes customer service over the past year. I just called to end my contract. I told them why and I was disconnected ... Sums it up. “0 kbps 90% of time”

I am writing this knowing that before I reach the submit button, the connection will be already dead. I am using a PC in London It used to be just slow, now after some works, if you just read a page without constantly loading something, connection goes from working HSDPA to 3G with 0 kbps speed. I guess people only review when something is wrong. So I will try and balance that a bit. What 3 service do I use? The one Plan Cost: £32 a month Features: tethering - unlimited internet - minutes im not sure without checking. Think it's 2000 + 5000 3to3 texts again cant remember never got near - around 10000 So why am I so happy? Tethering and unlimited internet. “NEED MORE GIGABYTES!”

I currently sell Three UK services to customers who can't get internet in their area with TP-LINK's 3G Products like the E353/E3231 on TL-MR3221 Routers, it boosts up the signal up to 40% for those poor area's and it's always on. “3 usb dongle”

pro: with mac osX dongle connect as soon as is inserted. Cons: the data allowance is always wrong and you never know how you have left. I topped up 3Gb and after 6 minutes I had 1040 Mb left !! I went to the shop in Wood green but they do not accept any complain, you have to call a number or fill up a very long on line form which requires you to write ALL your personal details. got 3 mobile Broadband it was ok when using I phone when I got a p.c it all changed couldn't down load and if it did it took ages then same trying to watch anything e.g you tube a film . I would try to move it rnd for better signal. “Originally good value. but now slowing down and...”

I have been using 3 Mobile for just over a year. The sim cards are cheap at around £11 for 3Gb over 3 months from Amazon. Don't top them up via 3 Mobile. It is too expensive. Throw them away and get new ones. 3 Mobile was great up to about 1-2 months ago. It was reasonably fast and reliable - and good value for money. Now it is very slow and often disconnects. Broadband is a tool to connectivity. 3G does not connect. I have had their broadband service since Sept 2012. I live in urban Dublin, and I have been onto their technical staff on 17 occasions to remedy non connectivity, so much so I can do their job at this stage. “Absolute Rubbish”

I have had this mifi device now for about 6 months and at first it was great and worked fine and then over time it just got slower and slower and its now at the point where it take about 10 minutes to load a page up, it says I have full HSDPA yet when I run a speed check on it I am getting a 0.2mbps download speed!! do yourself a favour and avoid like the plague!… Read Full Review

“Not the best service and the customer service is terrible”

We bought 3-mobile internet dongles, each on a £15.99 one month rolling contract with 5mb download limit. We went for the one month contract as we only wanted the mobile internet to cover us until BT could be bothered to come around and connect our new house up. One of the dongles never seemed to work right, it gave terrible download speeds (couldn't even check email or browse sites like the BBC) and the connection would drop regularly.
