Summary

Replacing The Hits, 4Music is set to feature pop music, exclusive live events, original series, and performances. It will also provide a new home for popular channel 4 progams Live from Abbey Road, Star Stories and The Sunday Night Project.

Included in the live performances are exclusive coverage of V festival and Bestival, boasting Music and Amy Whinehouse respectively. Launched on the 15 of August the channel will be available on Sky channel 360, Virgin 330 and Freeview 18.

The Hits channel - now 4Music - used to be ace because you would switch it on and their would be music on all the time all different types and eras. Now you switch it on and you get something like Shipwrecked or some guy in a studio talking about stuff, if i wanted this i can watch T4. Or more 4 they should have called this channel more more more 4. This is a prime example of how to ruin a perfectly good music channel
