“POSTAGE”

My wife has spent hundreds of pounds with them yet they still charge postage charges on all items sometimes capped. we buy off loads of sites on the internet all offering free postage. “Faulty non returnable item.”

I've used Create and Craft for just over 2 years and all was fine. Then I purchased a Storage4Crafts unit. Got tracking from Hermes parcel at my local depot. For next 7 days tracking kept saying delivery delayed 24 hours. They sent me the wrong item and did not include a return label. I sent the item back on the day I received it but it took them 10 days to process the return. By that time the item was out of stock. Having read many of the reviews I feel I'll try and give an honest, if somewhat cynical review. Firstly delivery - in all honesty, I've not had any problems with delivery so I'm not able to criticise this aspect. Hermes are quite good in my area and it depends a lot on your courier. Quality and value of goods - the items I have ordered have been ok and as advertised but you have to be careful, checking other sources for prices first. The price of postage is a bit of a joke. “Amazing deals to be had, P&P can be expensive, slow...”

Been shopping with Create and Craft for a few years now. Have spent over £1000 pounds with them. The vast majority of orders have gone through with no issues. Those orders where there has been an issue have been resolved very quickly with just an email. My advice is to wait to purchase any item for their capped P&P offer otherwise it is to expensive in my opinion. If you are patient you can get some amazing deals. Presenters encourage folks to get into debt, I'd love to know what percentage commission they are on. Stuff is overpriced to the hilt, and tacky. I find it amusing that people fall for the spiel about flexi payments. While I agree that if you can afford them, they are a good thing, the idea put over, that you only pay the price of one payment is ridiculous. You are still paying the full price and shouldn't be persuaded into thinking you are getting a bit deal! People are naive if they fall for all the selling spiel!
Having said that, I have had some good bargains to be fair.
One or two presenters sure have the gift of the gab though, if you fall for it all your are stupid. And this business of buy a few because they won't be offered again..hmmmm!
Let's not forget they are a shopping channel and their aim is to sell, sell,sell!

Thank you for posting this review. What a frustrating experience! I’m always wary of making a high value purchase anywhere other than in a shop as I always fear that after sales service might be problematic. Your review rather proves this point. Watching Create & Craft channel today, I was tempted to buy a Brother embroidery machine as they are selling it at such a good price. I decided to check out reviews first; I have - and I’m not tempted anymore!

“Worst type of distance selling charlatans”

Against my wishes my wife started with Create and Craft, and now she regrets it. Unasked items sent to her and she's charged for! Any attempt to call their exorbitant 20p per minute means you have to sit through several items of listening to all your previous orders before sticking you in the queue. I too have had this problem, I ordered the couture Christmas dies when on a half price the other week, ii days later they still hadn't arrived, so I contact C and C and was informed there was a "logistic issue" and I could either wait a bit longer for my order or get a refund, I sent them an e mail to say I would wait as I really liked the item and it was a good price, plus in this e mail I did mention that is would have been good customer service to inform their customers of this problem. Today (01st September 2018) I received another e mail saying they have cancelled my order and are going to refund my money and they are sorry for any distress this may cause. I can only presume that they do not read the e mails properly as no where in my e mail did I state I wished for the order to be cancelled. I also asked if I was going to get my other order I placed on Sunday, they did not answer that question, so still do not know. I have sent in a official complaint his morning and asked then to send my e mail to the CEO of the company (though I do not think it will do any good as they do not seem to look after their customers) I really hope you get your orders soon. By the way have you tried "Hixxysoft, they are a little company of three people and are brilliant and the p & p is free. Do not have the same big bungles/offers that create and craft have. But the prices on dies/paper/ etc... are very good

I admin a few FB Groups, including one for dissatisfied C&C customers - you are not alone! If you use the number you must ask for a named person as asking for Customer Services transfers you to the premium rate number.

Tell, not ask, for your calls to be refunded as it was their fault you had to call them.
