we purchased our kitchen 7 years ago and we had problems from day 1 they fitted wrong sink nothing was sealed the wood worktops all started to split they told us to grout them with sawdust self closing doors did not close properly the pelmets started to come away the extractor fan fell off of the wall and now the large carousel has collapsed they sent out fitter many times to fix but they were not very good and problems still exist they now say they will supply new carousel but will not fit… Read Full Review

I spent a little over £22K on 2 bathrooms with Wickes. I think that the design process and the things that actually arrived were all fine. But it was entirely ruined by the Wickes installation. The behaviour of the Wickes installers was appalling, particularly in terns of their covid-unsafe practices but also because they were just lazy and sloppy. “Incompetent. It's a struggle to even give them one star!”

Wickes are absolutely hopeless and totally incompetent. I made a home delivery order. It was really simple. Two plywood sheets and eight roofing battens. They delivered the two sheets and only three battens. The delivery driver gave me some nonsense or other about how Wickes and Wincanton (in charge of their deliveries) don't communicate very well. Ordered my kitchen in June 2019 and fitting was booked for early August 2019. There were delays with delivery and fitting, but some defective parts were not delivered until October 2019. Then trying to get Wickes back to finish is impossible. I have the parts, but Wickes wouldnt fit. We have poor fitting problems, missing parts, and parts waiting to be fixed in. “Absolute hell from start to (not ever being) finished”

I ordered a new bathroom in March 2019 to be fitted in June 2019 - this was meant to take one week. I had the most disastrous, stressful experience you could ever have. Everything that could go wrong did. The delivery didn't turn up on time, the fitter flooded our home, the job was rushed because of the delay in arrival, parts were missing from the order... “Damaged and missing parts, unfinished 5 months after...”

We paid £11300 for a kitchen at WICKES RAYLEIGH at the end of January. Installation didn’t happen until mid June and now we are left with missing parts (salesperson forgot to order) and no idea when the job will be completed. What an awful experience. I spent £25K on this kitchen installation, £15k was from Wickes for their Intelliga Esker Ice and appliances fully installed by their contracted kitchen fitter. Awful! Avoid! We've paid £22,000 for the kitchen and fitting and we will have to pay more to get things fixed. Took 7 weeks, instead of the estimated 3 for the job to be finished. The new flooring was left gauged from replacing the broken freezer(the freezer was broken from day one, took 2 weeks to replace) Flooring has been left incomplete, 1-inch gap from the door frame. Seeing all the kitchen adverts this time of year makes my blood boil!! I will keep this short as I will let my emotions get out of hand otherwise. What an appalling customer service. Thank you Wickes for leaving me without kitchen for coming Christmas. The designer did not order enough end panels for the appliances, despite the fact I specifically come back to designer about this point. I attended a Wicke's store today at Yeovil regarding a failed part. The lady in attendance showed no interest or help. Although she had a laptop to hand she made no effort to locate a new part preferring to just sit doing nothing. Eventually, she directed me to another kitchen supplier in the town.
