I use Wickes ( London Rd, Glasgow) every year as I have applied the same Wickes wood care to my decking over the years. I always use the Red Mahogany but two years ago they changed the colour as many of the reviewers complained about. I had taken it back and got £40 a gift card as a refund. So they advertise a big sale, Great news! We arrange for a design visit and all goes well, designer was great and didn't feel any pressure to buy, we agreed a design and installation date, met with installer, he seemed knowledgeable and all was going well, there was a slight issue with the taps we chose being delayed but they would arrive mid install so no issue and just in case there was a plan to install temporary taps if for any reason they were any later, then the day before delivery and 4… Read Full Review

Wickes sh*tchen Would never go there again and thoroughly recommend no one else does A kitchen I ordered in september failed to be completely delivered by December. Not only was delivery incomplete but parts that did arrive were wrong and had to be amended at my expense. we purchased our kitchen 7 years ago and we had problems from day 1 they fitted wrong sink nothing was sealed the wood worktops all started to split they told us to grout them with sawdust self closing doors did not close properly the pelmets started to come away the extractor fan fell off of the wall and now the large carousel has collapsed they sent out fitter many times to fix but they were not very good and problems still exist they now say they will supply new carousel but will not fit… Read Full Review

I spent a little over £22K on 2 bathrooms with Wickes. I think that the design process and the things that actually arrived were all fine. But it was entirely ruined by the Wickes installation. The behaviour of the Wickes installers was appalling, particularly in terns of their covid-unsafe practices but also because they were just lazy and sloppy. Wickes are absolutely hopeless and totally incompetent. I made a home delivery order. It was really simple. Two plywood sheets and eight roofing battens. They delivered the two sheets and only three battens. The delivery driver gave me some nonsense or other about how Wickes and Wincanton (in charge of their deliveries) don't communicate very well. Ordered my kitchen in June 2019 and fitting was booked for early August 2019. There were delays with delivery and fitting, but some defective parts were not delivered until October 2019. “Absolute hell from start to (not ever being) finished”

I ordered a new bathroom in March 2019 to be fitted in June 2019 - this was meant to take one week. I had the most disastrous, stressful experience you could ever have. Everything that could go wrong did. The delivery didn't turn up on time, the fitter flooded our home, the job was rushed because of the delay in arrival, parts were missing from the order... We paid £11300 for a kitchen at WICKES RAYLEIGH at the end of January. Installation didn’t happen until mid June and now we are left with missing parts (salesperson forgot to order) and no idea when the job will be completed.
