“Rude Designer in lincoln store”

I went with my daughter to order a kitchen. The designer was fine until he decided to rest his hand on her leg and left it there for some time. When we returned to sort out a problem...some items we'd paid for were missing...he said he wasn't going to speak to me as i wasn't the customer...the young lady was..and said he didn't like my attitude. “Bad quality bad installation and worse customer service ”

Ordered the full 100% oak soild wood kitchen. Arrived on date promised. But installer beside agreed to date will come after a week only. Wickes could not help. Some doors are received damaged had hard time convince customer service that was not our fault. They supplied the replacement doors three weeks after installation finished. After that they can not arrange to get installer to fix the replacement till now since six months passed. Various calls to customer service does not help as they say… Read Full Review

“Shoddy quality ill fitted kitchen”

Three weeks later and still waiting for the fitters to return and refit the ill fitting poorly installed cabinets. three weeks unable to park on our drive while waiting for the removal of Wickes rubbish. Disgusting after sales purchased some… Disgusting after sales purchased some bathroom accessories, within 10 months they are going rusty, website Staes 1 year warranty so I thought no problem and returned them, only to be told if I read the small print Wickes only give 30 days yes 30 days warranty on products which are not their own brand and its up to the customer to sort it out with the manufacturer. Do not purchase your Kitchen or use the installers from Wickes.. They do not care They have no respect for customers. They want your money but do not want to know when they cause an issue. I purchased a kitchen and received one of the worst experiences from any company ever. Items not delivered, charged for items I'd not ordered, poor design service with very poor knowledge and constant delays. I phone and emailed customer services on numerous occasions only to be fobbed off at every turn. I was not until I sent an email to CEO that I received any contact from them. Just had a new Wickes kitchen, fitter took a week working very hard, he was excellent, I had a couple of small issues afterwards, which he came back straight away to fix. I chose a mid-price shaker style kitchen so it does feel a bit synthetic and being ivory shows fingerprints up easy however quality is good. Didn't really need the 'designer' service and this was very minimal service not very impressed to be honest, took ages to answer queries. He informed me that if i wanted a professional job doing i should go with Wickes. We purchased a fitted kitchen from Wickes in Hemel Hemstead a couple of years ago and cabinet doors are already deteriorating.The design consultant did an excellent job with the design and the fitters installed it quickly and without any problems so we were impressed with how things went. “Shoddy contractor - bad customer service”

I spent over £12k on a Kitchen which was installed in Sept 2016. All was fine until May of 2017 when in the middle of the night 2 (full) kitchen cupboards fell off the wall, smashed all the contents, scratched the quartz worktop. The cupboards (empty) probably weigh 30kg. They had been put into plasterboard with 4 x 1.5inch screws! We had our £14,000 kitchen fitting completed on 20 June 2018. We are still awaiting templating for the worktop (which Wickes cannot explain why it is costing us £480 to change the pattern rather than the expected £100). They then attempted to fine us for a templating callout that we were not informed was happening - we were out at the time. Poor bulk delivery service. Only sent one person, no lifting equipment. Driver unable to lift concrete post off the truck, so unable to deliver to the kerbside, drive or inside a gate.
