As Matt was describing today's cheesecake with passion fruit and mango, he mentioned "..tumeric". There is no such spice as tumeric; there is, however, an 'r' in turmeric.

This show used to be about cooking and recipes now it is all about who can laugh the loudest or shout I just either put it on mute or turn ove, shame as I used to enjoy it. And the host is the worst offender.

Love saturday kitchen, having worked in the trade all my life the banter is just what you get in professional kitchens. So much better than pre matt. My only wish is that some of the ingredients used are not available in rural england so some alternatives would be good. Watched a great turbot recipe in best bites at least 2 of the ingredients are not readily available outside london. Still love the show.

Love Saturday Kitchen but todays (5th August 2023) was so boring! Why? Judge Rinder, the man never shuts up, he completely dominated the programme, sorry but completely boring!

segments in the studio very frustrating, chit chat while preparing food then when’s guests are given the food we don’t hear review as we then have to listen to wine critics taking far too long talking about grapes and soil types? ok tell us white or red would be recommended but a high percentage of the uk population would not drink wine with every meal , don’t drink at all due to religious or lifestyle reasons . I tend to record the show now and skip past these segments. I like the recorded sessions and don’t see the point now of studio as you never get peace to here how to prepare food as there are cooks or celebrities plugging books or restaurants …

I have been a long term fan of Saturday Kitchen but it's now being trivialised by the overloud and constant laughter of Matt Tebutt. There are some excellent chefs who appear on this programme, probably the main reason why most viewers tune in, but their value is being undermined by the increasingly shallow nature of the programme. The giggling interaction between MT and Helen McGinn makes her look very silly and I don't really listen to her wine recommendations now - and too many stupid references to rosé too. On the other hand Olly Smith obviously has a long friendship with MT but comes over as approachable and measured (and excellent at his profession), somehow balancing MT's increasingly over-loud and often inappropriate laughter. The appearance of Alex Jones (who was a delight) as a guest host was very welcome - not only because of her on-air professionalism but also because it brought the programme back to what I consider its original remit: that of a food programme that highlights some of the best chefs around and gives culinary inspiration to viewers - and not just a prime time slot for MT to show off. To be honest, I'm more inclined to watch James Martin on ITV now.

I enjoy watching many cookery programmes but regrettably no longer watch Saturday Kitchen Live. Too many self indulgent guests and ridiculous loud laughter at anything even remotely funny. In addition people constantly talking over each other. Why? It’s unnatural and can only assume that those on the show are told to do this for some obscure reason by the programmers director.

What is the point of having someone show something being cooked if they are going to keep the ingredients a secret? Only chefs that are prepared to share their recipes should be allowed on the program. Ref the Japanese pancake 'recipe' on 18/2/2023, which sounds as though it was taken from someone in Japan in the first place!

An informative and relaxing way to spend a saturday morning. Such a shame this morning that Shivi casually mentioned "kicking a dog". Just read the awful news about dogs being kicked to death.

What a lovely show this morning with Alex Jones presenting. A real breath of fresh air. I have nothing against Mat Tebbutt but I have to agree his loud, constant laughter is becoming rather annoying. Loved the two guests this week - very funny guys - and thoroughly enjoyed the recipes.

Well I have thoroughly enjoyed this morning Saturday Kitchen Live. Alex Jones is a breath of fresh air. No edge to the lady and she gives everyone permission to relax with her jovial manner. First time I've watched all the way through. Well done.

I was stunned when today's episode of Saturday Kitchen. I noticed when the camera panned out to reveal the front of the kitchen area. There was a lot of rubbish on the floor which looked like bits of food. Even the Saturday Kitchen logo on the floor on front of Kitchen area had dirty foot marks on it. For a food preparation program so care needs to used in what the camera shows us. Perhaps easier would be to get a cleaner to bring this part of Kitchen up to the standard of the rest of the kitchen and table area. There is no excuse for a darn right slovenly attitude. How people can sit and eat food with this unsightly mess in view.

I cannot watch Saturday Kitchen anymore as Matt is just too awkward in his role as host. The fake laughter is cringeworthy! Naga Munchetty is so aggressive and up herself and takes delight in ridiculing people. For the same reason I cannot watch Breakkast News.

So watching today's Saturday kitchen and the (I used to think) lovely Angela Hartnet until she describes her fellow humans or employees as minions that do jobs she is too good for. Disgraceful, I don't know what mirror she looks into but it clearly shows her being so much better than the rest of us...silly woman, you may be able to cook but you are not as superior as you seem to think,

your so called cooking with the above chef i find absoluty disgusting to even call it cooking just to put over priced mushrooms in a pan and poach them in butter and to soak a sheet of prepared pasta and then tip the mushrooms over the top is a farce to the word cooking even a child would not find hard to do I really think the programme should get its act together

The concept of this programme is ok,it can on occasion, give us at home some helpful tips on preparing and cooking food and its great to watch re-runs of the masters like Stein etc but i have two major gripes which seem to occur week after week on this programme... firstly, please get some chefs on the show that actually care about teaching the public their recipes and are not just on tv to promote their new overpriced restaurant, get some free publicity to revive their failing careers or make a few extra quid doing a mornings work. Why do they have to be celebrity chefs, why not give a break to some of the up and coming stars working behind the scenes usually in a basement somewhere in London working for peanuts? Secondly, can the person in charge of planning this show pleaseget rid of James Martin as the bloke is not a good chef he's what I would consider a cook or a cowboy, he's recipes are always very basic with no imagination and usually contain massive amounts of fat, we have enough of a problem with obesity in this country without this man chucking pounds of butter or cream into most of his recipes.Furthermore, if i have to watch him spin sugar and make a nest out of it one more time I think i'll crack up, it's just so boring just like James, please hire someone with a personality????

I realy dont like this programme, seems to go on for ever. James Martin seems full of himself and brings no warmth or energy to the program. His auto que reading is laughable you can see him following the words. Floyds the best section by far.

Like the program lots of ideas on Saturday Kitchen. Like the fun of it all. No recipes amounts given on show. Guests don't do much could be 15min longer less rushed.
