This movie has something for everyone: history, superheroes, romance, friendships, and the overwhelming message that being a good person is not something forced, not something physical. A corrupt man cannot have power without abusing it. It is a reminder of the TRUE American way: love, integrity, and kindness. I really enjoyed watching this movie, I watched it about fifteen times, but every time I watched it, I enjoyed it more and more. This film is Steve Rogers' very fascinating origin story and follows him battling against Red Skull and the head of the Nazi research division HYDRA for America. I think overall it's a great family film… Read Full Review

Another addition to the Marvel comic book adapations getting ready for The Avengers movie release is Captain America. A difficult one to bring to the screen as the 1940's hero Steve Rogers could come across as old and outdated. Setting the film during the Second World War manages to remove any uncomfortable feelings about tight costume wearing super heroes. The added retro glamour of Hayley Atwell and the tongue in cheek way they treat his celebrity goes a long way to making this film feel… Read Full Review
