I discovered Ghengis fireworks about four years ago, I've bought from them ever since then. Like many people, I initially bought fireworks from the local supermarket but despite the cost, cool packaging promising amazing visuals etc found the over priced and most of all extremely disappointing.

Like comparable sellers Ghengis fireworks aren't cheap. I go all out and usually spend a few hundred pounds for a bundle of cakes and larger type of rockets which usually last a couple of hours. my favourite cake is the paradise one for amazing effects and colours. The large rockets are truly awesome and I've made my own launcher out of the pvc tubes supplied with them, a sturdy bucket and a bag of concrete post fix to ensure a safe take off!

I would personally rather spend £60 or so on a couple of the Ghengis cakes which could each be described as a firework display in their own right rather than shelling out the same for a couple of crappy boxes of supermarket tat. I'd rather

stand at the bottom of the garden with a zippo lighter and a whopee cushion than waste money on the limp stuff in the supermarket.

I missed the cut off date for delivery from Ghengis fireworks, but Norman, who I think May be the owner delivered a large box of rockets and cakes direct to my house in his own car. To do so he made a round trip of 34 miles! I have bought from Ghengis three times in the past and found their products and service very good.

Discriptions price and information was all good. The fireworks arrived on time and we were happy. The most expensive cake didn't light, we had a qualified pyrotechnic who tried 3 times it didn't light it was the 5th out of 6 in our display. The rest of the display was good no issues. My husband contated Ghengis 2 days later and explained and was advised to take photos of the fuse which wouldn't light and destroy the unused cake safely and that a refund would be arranged approx £125. He did this and sent the said photos to Ghengis and suddenly we weren't getting a refund end of story! No further discussion explanantion etc and of course we no longer had the faulty evidene!!! Bit of a wet squib on the customer service front look elsewhere in case something goes wrong. Once they have your payment customer service isn't their strong point!!!

Ghengis Fireworks has a generally very good website, www.ghengisfireworks.co.uk and with lot to choose from. A very easy site to use. Reasonable prices. Good advice.
