Daelim S5

I've got my Daelim s5 new 2 years ago , and it has now 3.000km. Its very fast and has a highspeed of 56km/h (32mph). It has very strong acceleration!!

Its not a chinese copy, because it made all by Daelim in Korea (KIA Corporation Group) and it has a copy of Honda Dio 2 stroke Strong engine (5,1 hp).

Daelim for many years (i think 1980-2000) has a collaboration with

Honda and make parts for it!

Is very reliable scooter, only problem for me is the battery and i change it

after 1,5 year.

got mine secondhand with 14,000 on clock. goes extremely well and has service history. im not going for the usual stuff with people saying its a chinese copy etc, just do your homework and you will realise they are good value for money. just look for the usual signs if you buy second-hand. exhaust, modding, speedo cable etc. even though parts are available they can be tricky to locate, thats the only downside..

all in all its a good little A to B bike
