Booked and paid £40 for airport transfers in Majorca. They sent confirmation with wrong address then tried to overcharge us more money and wouldn’t pick us up unless we paid it. “Appalling service - do not use!!!!”

We booked a return transfer from Bangkok airport to our hotel. We had no issue with the initial transfer from the airport to the hotel. Our return transfer from the hotel to the airport never arrived. We were a party of six people left stranded. We couldn't use our mobile phone but we're lucky that a hotel staff member contacted hoppa. At this point we were told a taxi had been dispatched. “Not a reputable company ”

Paid for a return trip from Malaga airport to Torremolinos. Was collected at airport and transferred to hotel. On day of departure there was no sign of Hoppa, as we were a group of 7 including children it soon became evident that the service we had paid for was not forthcoming. Finally having made contact by phone to its offices was informed that I had cancelled return collection. “What a shambles!”

I guess you get what you pay for! We had no information about what to do On arrival (Palma, Majorca) so walked up and down in the airport trying to find somebody to help us. Finally found out coach and then it took over 2 hours to get to our accommodation as the driver seemed to be taking a really random route - driving by the road where our hotel was twice before finally dropping us off. “Awful, don't use”

Used these guys for a transfer from Gatwick to central London. The cab firm they subcontracted to was horrendous. Driver barely spoke English, so he could not direct us to where his car was parked in the airport. We only found him by chance. The journey should have taken 1.5hrs, maximum 2hrs. Instead it took more than 3hrs as he totally ignored the sat nav with the best route and took a totally bizarre one. “Stressful experience”

We had booked a return trip from Los Gigantes to Reina Sofia, Tenerife on the 12th April (Booking reference F1355362). We were not given clear instructions as to where to wait for the pickup and so stood where our original driver from the airport told us to. Hi booked this online and due too a miscommunication from them my booking was canceled even though I had received my E ticket a week before my travel when i arrived at the airport I was told by one of their CSA to get in a taxi and I would get a refundand.The CSA then disconnected the conversation (hung up on me ) so stranded at the airport got a taxi still trying to get a refund… Read Full Review

“Disaster Transfer”

Anyone else had same issue as us. Booked a sedan transfer at extra cost but got a mini bus and when I complained was advised by the person in customer care that I did not pay extra for sedan (which I did) and that a minibus was the same as it was a private transfer.When did a sedan become a minibus?? “Didn't get what I paid for and awful customer service!”

Returned from Gran Canaria. Booked return speedy shuttle with Hoppa from the airport to Puerto de Mogan. Journey from the airport was 10 stops and not the 4 I had booked. It took just under 2 hours. I raised a complaint and they gave come back with totally false information. What I have been given indicates there were only 13 passengers on the coach and that it stopped 4 times before my drop off. This is totally untrue! Having boarded the transfer coach at Gran Canaria airport at 19.20 on December 21st we waited a full 50 minutes before the bus finally departed at 20.10. Upon reaching Playa del Ingles approximately one hour was spent dropping off at numerous hotels resulting in the bus driving in circles as we noticed we were being driven up and down the same streets again and again. Had a disaster no transfer pick up... They did not pay back the full taxi fair so out of pocket . After many phone calls at my cost to get the money back and asking for a reasonable goodwill they now don't reply to my emails . We stayed in Marbella last week. Booked return transfer. Had changed our hotel weeks ago & notified Hoppa immediately. Got an email from them confirming knowledge of our amendment. Arrived on Tues , pick up driver had our details as being the previous accomodation, advised them of our changes and they noted that & took us to our hotel. I used Hoppa on a holiday i went on to Tenerife at christmas. The bus was half an hour late picking me up for the airport. I worried and rang a taxi which turned up at the same time and the taxi driver made me pay 6 euro for wasting his time. We were left standing outside our hotel in Spain early in the morning, a party of 6 people, 2 elderly travellers. No-one responded to any of the emergency contact numbers. We struggled to find alternative transport at short notice, resulting in 2 taxis at our expense. I am still awaiting an outcome following investigation from the customer service 1 month later, we are out of pocket with not even an apology. Unfortunately the Hoppa transfer I received both from and to Corfu airport was the worst I've ever experienced in an airport transfer. We experienced huge delays, over an hour just sitting on a coach going nowhere at Corfu airport, a lack of information, then a chaotic and disorganised service on the return trip. Booked Hoppa to take me to the airport . Nobody arrived and the emergency number given nobody answered . When I complained they sent a photograph of a taxi on a street ( not my address) said nobody was in when they arrived. I was standing outside my door 30 minutes before they were due and was still there an hour after they were due. We had paid for jiffy coach from Palma airport to Cala Millor, with maximum of 1-4 stops. We were waiting for 2 hours at the airport for the jiffy coach (with no help from the counter staff). Eventually a lady supervisor came out an explained original driver over hours and was really apologetic. However not our problem and this should have been covered by another driver. I arranged an airport transfer with hoppa as I didn’t want the free coach transfer offered with my holiday, so instead booked a private transfer in a ‘sedan’. I gave the resort information complete with the hotel address for the quote but then was contacted to say my transfer would be £20 more than quoted and my only option was to re-book and I couldn’t be refunded as the resort partner felt the hotel was in a different resort, it wasn’t, and in any case I gave the full address… Read Full Review

See Below email sent to Hoppa, Good morning it is now 00.15 on Thursday 24th may. I registered at the Eros desk at 2230 last night and o am now say on a bus waiting to leave Barcelona airport.
