I went for the Torino Solar Garden Light as I wanted to get some quality solar garden lights for my garden and was willing to pay more than the basic lights you get in DIY stores. I found the Torino solar lights on line and they seemed to be what I wanted, and at £25 a light I was hoping they did that.
I Ordered 6, 2 of them were broken on arrival, so I sent them back to the manufacturer for replacements, they sent me refurbished ones, how cheeky, considering how much I paid!
Eventually i got them in the garden and at first looks, they are very nice, but when you turn them on to do what you want them to do..... well they don't!! They're not super bight (at all) and last 2-3 hours (on a British sunny day). The extra powerful bulbs in them (which aren't extra bright) seem to suck the power and last no time at all. Sometimes the power in one lamp has gone dead before other lights come on due to the varied sensitivities in light sensors (and no they are not in different shades in the garden).
The good reviews you see on websites selling these are a copy and paste statement from the company that made them (just check for yourself). Look around different websites and you'll see it's all word for word!
Overall, if you're looking for some good garden lights that are bright and last most of the night, get mains powered ones, as these are not even worth close to what they're charging. If you need or want solar lights don't expect bright lights, just decorative, and certainly don't buy these, just get B&Q lights, they do the job at a fraction of the price.
