“Rubbish ”

written by on 06/07/2013

People poo in pool sometimes not children sometime even adults it was shocking. Room was cleaned perfect when you were leaving to go home they put a big swan and that is very nice. I loved all the pools and the rest of it was good but the food was rotting only had toast and eggs for breakfast and the Line for eggs was massive away around the tables and it was very annoying and I am not going back to that hotel it is not good Thanks

“Holiday Review Holiday Village Palace, Sarigerme”

★★★★☆

written by pbarclay69 on 28/10/2011

Complex was great as was room. Selection of food at main restaurant and snack bar ample. Maid service was not great, floors not cleaned, patio not cleaned, think the only thing she did was made beds and put fresh towels in each day. Waiters in main restaurant were not very helpful and didn't offer us any drinks from the bar. My daughter 11 yrs had sickness and diarohea, my niece 13 yrs had diarohea and myself had sickness. When I queried it with the rep he stated that there was a bug going about but would have been helpful if we had been notified of this. On returning home I have now picked up a kidney infection as a result of the sickness bug from the holiday. There was plenty of sanitisers at restaurants and we used this all the time due to the cats outside. Overall was a great holiday apart from the bugs.

“Wonderful holiday”

★★★★★

written by annieworle on 24/09/2011

Not knowing what to expect (daughter booked the holiday), we were so pleased with everything. We are an older couple, but found the whole complex alive and if we decided to have some quiet time, we found it easily. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and had everything you could need. The food was amazing, so much choice at all times of the day or night, facilities were very diverse, something for everyone. Nothing was too much trouble, every query answered or sorted. My daughter was married when we were there and she could not praise them enough. We are looking at going back next year as we feel there is still so much we can see and do. The excursions from the village were excellent value for money and exciting. What more can I say, an excellent holiday and value for money.

“Just returned from one week at the holiday village ...”

★★★★☆

written by on 28/10/2009

Just returned from one week at the holiday village Sarigarme, 26/10/09.

Food was of an excellent standard in the restaurant, due to the bad press we avoided eating in the snack bars.

First Choice kids reps were great, remembered your children's name every time we saw them (Wavelength)

We won't be going back as we realised that this type of holiday is not what we are looking for but for those that like all inclusive and plenty of activities its great.

Lots of the holiday makers were drinking beer from 10am - not a pretty site. The attire in the evenings mainly consisted of Ugg boots and football tops - the dress code was completely ignored.

Lunchtime in the restaurant was good, tables were constantly cleared and replenished with cutlery and glasses, in the evenings it was a different matter.

Enjoyed the 3 restaurants on site that were included.

yes, pools were closed due to 'accidents' this also coincided with a huge transfer day - I have never known another hotel with poo problems so can't help but think that some people think its fun to leave a deposit on their last day, apparantly there is a facebook site that encourages you to poo in the pools!!

Hotel was immaculate, the toilets constantly had a someone cleaning them. There are so many staff here.

Towels for pool and beach were always available and freshly laundered. if you have booked this hotel don't worry, its absolutely fine.

x

On the 22nd Sept 09 we returned from a two week holiday in Sarigarme Holiday Village Turkey and had a wonderful time. We did a late deal only booking two weeks before, after which all the adverse publicity came out regarding bad hygiene, food poisoning, dirty pools ect as you can imagine we were very sceptical about what we were going to face when we got there and after suffering food poioning in Mexico last year I was very apprehensive, but I needn't have worried, it was the best all inclusive we have been to, the food, hygeine, accommodation, staff ect was brilliant. We will definately go back and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

written by on 27/09/2009

went to the holiday village Turkey with my husband and twin 12 year old sons 20th july 09 to 3rd aug o9, and was we glad to come home.in 50 degrees heat the pools were closed nearly every other day due to someone pooing in them, they had to be closed for 24 hrs.there was no entertainment for the boys and adults unless you call audience getting up entertaining, there was only one person behind some of the bars in the evening so you queued for 10 mins sometimes.the food was ok the first week but went rapidly downhill the 2nd and once it was gone no more was brought out especially lunchtimes if you didnt go in dead on 12.30.the free icecream was a joke they gave such big scoops that it didnt last the time period it was specified.lack of sunbeds unless you got up at 6.30am lack of umbrellas in 50 degrees.

went to holiday village in september with two children 6 and 9, was annoyed about the amount of things whch we had to pay for even thought it was all inc. ice creams only free bertween 12.30 and 2.30 after that you had to pay, frsh orange at breakfast was 6l (£3.00)!! if you wanted to pay for the steak house you had to pay, a lot of the kids clubs you had to pay for, there were no snacks availbale after 9.30pm, my kids were starving and ended up buying crisps every night, the kids entertainment was the same night after night, and the adult entertainment had finished by 10:15!! food was bearable ebven though we all lost weight due to lack of!

“Me and my family had an amazing time at the holiday...”

★★★★☆

written by on 18/07/2009

Me and my family had an amazing time at the holiday village. we had 2 younger children in our party who made full use of the kids clubs and they loved it! Some people may say the food is the same every day which is true, but there is so many choices it takes you all week to try every thing! i recommend trying the themed restaurants, we only got round to trying the italian and it was very nice. due to small children, quite a few pools got shut throughout are stay but it didnt really bother us as there are so many pools avaliable. 17 infact! the market in sarigerme shows you a true turkish market, they do what ever they can to make you buy! if you are blonde the people love you as i found out! we done 2 excursions through basket tours which can be found in sarigerme. the mud baths is a must. such fun for adults and children. also the jeep safari was great fun. expect to get very wet! we got to see turkish villages you would never no were there and the village children join in with you. the basket tour staff were amazing and so friendly. both trips were extremly good value for money and its a great day out. also a lot cheaper than through the holiday companys.
definitly recommend the holiday village, fantastic, friendly staff, extremly clean, plenty of food and drink all day. wish i was there now!!

“I just got back from the Holiday Village Turkey and i...”

★★★★★

written by Dean Loves Holidays on 16/06/2009

I just got back from the Holiday Village Turkey and i really really enjoyed my self it was fantastic even though it was just me and my mum. the people there were always so nice and everything was so spotless. the entertainment was quite good aswell. I reccomend the SPA to anyone.
Also you should go on the 12 island tour the adult one is better as there are no kids running around and crying.
However for the kids there is a great little kids club and loads of activities that they can do.
If your a little older like myself and maybe on the pull its not the strongest place like ibiza or anything however it does have alot of girls and lads ranging from all ages there as you will be surprised.
Im 18 and the ratio to me was like 3 girls to 1 lad so i was happy ;) lol.
I also suggest that you try some of the free special dinner evening espcialy the itilan and turkey. The first day you arrive it is best to go to the welcome meeting so you find some information about things just for your own benifet. 1 more thing that is a deffinate is the mud baths it is rather funny day out.
If you fancy going to the tradional turkish market then go to the sunday market in sarigame as there is plenty of things there and you could spend a fortune so be carefull. also if you do go there and you head right up the to the top where the market is becareful as people will do pretty much anything to get you to buy something and they are very convincing. A trick they do is want to shake your hand if they are selling jewerlly then in about 5 seconds you will have jewleery covering your arm and if its clothes or afershave then they will pull you to the stall and not let go so watch out. It only costs 1 turkish leira each to get there in a mini bus that comes every half an hour right outside your hotel and will pick you up aswell. the market starts at 8am and goes on til about 4 or 5.

written by on 25/05/2009

We have just come back from 2 lovely weeks at Sargerme, Holiday Village Turkey and really enjoyed it. kids loved the choice of pools, kept them happy all day. the surroundings are lovely and well kept looked exactly as the brochure shows. The staff work very hard and do a brill job, very friendly too, rooms are good and its a lovely hotel will definatly be going back!! Very clean and tidy, pools great,if i had known that they prefer our money i wouldnt have changed as much,u get a better deal too buying with our money. free kids clubs were good kids enjoyed them.all staff very nice and helpful. Shops on site are very expensive especially for necessities e.g deoderant shampoo nappies etc. evening kids club finished too late for us-age 3-6 was still 9-11pm! and a bit repetative when staying for more than a week. bedsetees very uncomfortable for me anyway. the evening entertainment bit boring unless you waited till 11pm,bingo took up most of the evening and quizzes, no shows as suchwhich was a shame and finally the ques for toast in the morning a bit too long-wouldnt like to think what itd be like peak season and not much choice for kids food but for us the food was fine.

written by leiammoore on 17/09/2008

Pools and surrounding gardens were great and well kept. Kids club and soccer school were fantastic. Mega expensive in the on site supermarkets, mega expensive after 24:00 when all inclusive runs out, £8.00 for whiskey and coke, £40 for Turkish own sparkling wine, £300 for bottle of champagne.
Mini bar not all inclusive and prices not subsidised. Evening entertainment ok if you like "my way", "mr bojangles" and any other song from the fifties and sixties

written by on 03/09/2008

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the holiday village. We were told we had booked the most exclusive room, a jacuzzi suite and would have a DVD player, these are in fact only available in the jacuzzi rooms, the room was also a lot smaller than we had expected. The reception staff were not very helpful and some were quite surly. As we were in reception waiting to leave there were a large number of people attending the first choice desk with a number of complaints. I would strongly recommend that you change your destination if you are due to go here in the coming days.

It was a shame to write a lot of negative comments on the resort, but if you are planning to go then it is only fair you hear both sides, I didn't think the food was good at all, it was the same everyday, we had to queue up at 07.30 in the morning to try to get a seat in the restaurants and when we did we only got a choice of 2 mains?? We went out to eat several times which is not what we wanted to do after going all inclusive... We will certainly not be going back.
