We had a 3 bedroom caravan at the New Beach park in Dymchurch in Kent from the 18/9/23-22/9/23 the rooms were so small even the double bedroom was very small. It was supposed to have been cleaned, but when we checked we found someone’s broken nail, when we pull out the bed in the living room there was mouldy food and other things I was not going to touch. The microwave was not cleaned properly. When we went to the club I couldn’t believe the prices, I brought a cup of tea and a pint of larger shandy and I was shocked they charged me £8:20, also 2 pints of larger shandy and a single vodka and tonic was £16:80. The staff though were very friendly and helpful. We actually left a day early because it was so uncomfortable

It feels like this site is set up for static caravans and doesn't adequately cater for holiday makers in tents. No freezing facilities meant that we wasted a lot of food as we couldn't re freeze our ice packs. The site receptionist was very nice, friendly and helpful, but can't possibly manage the maintenance, cleaning and security alone. Other campers ripped down some fence for their barbecue, making a deep river accessible to small children and yet park holidays main reception were barely interested when I informed them. We had to listen to several loud fights / arguments each evening, a warden at the camping end of the site would mean these could be addressed. Toilet facilities were relatively clean, but with a 2 yr old you have to be prepared to use the loo with the door open - too small for two! Overall we had a lovely time as the weather was great and children made lots of friends, but this had nothing to do with the site!

Site is terrible. No drainage and after rain we had ducks swimming round the caravan. Several caravans had to be pulled out by tractor Shower curtains were missing as were locks on the doors in the toilet block.

New Beach is a Fantastic Park. Entertainment and swimming pool great. We have stayed at the park many times usually in a chalet, however this year the claets were all boked and we had to take our tent. Not surprising as we always have a fantastic time. Toilets were busy but clean and hot. The only thing i would add is it would be great to see more shows from the Entertainers rather than cabaret as they were fantastic. We have already re booked for 2010

If you have to pay for entertainment, buy them in weeks and not longer if your stay is more. You may find that you will not use it after one week due to its value!!!! I would not recommend New Beach holiday park.

I'm sure the caravans that are privately owned are immaculate however if you have the misfortune of staying in park owned chalet then good luck. We left early as would rather lose a couple of nights money than any more sleep!!
