I cant recommend evans halshaw in stoke highly enough. I bought a second ha nd citroen c3 and the sales team were helpful and friendly.
There was a problem with the car and i returned it a week later. The mechanic came out with me to identify the issue and the problem was resolved and i was given a courtesy car.
The staff were friendly. Efficient and helpful. The issue wasnt the problem. These things happen. Its how its resolved that matters. I cant recommend them highly enough. I am very happy with the service grom start to finish.

The Worst Dealership I Have Ever Seen
This is the worst dealership I have ever seen.
Staff are very rude and customer service is terrible.
Still waiting for a refund on my deposit for over 24 days now.
The sales manager is the most disrespectful and rude person I have ever came across.
Would not buy a car from here even if it was for free.
Stay away from these guys.

Just part-exchanged my car at Evans Halshaw in Stoke on Trent and the whole process was made easy for me. The car I wanted was brought down from the northeast and was in perfect condition. The staff were extremely pleasant and professional and all the (dreaded) paperwork was completed quickly and efficiently. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

throughout the sale the salesman deliberately held back paperwork that contridicted what I was told. I complained and they were very rude about it. I was told I can't prove it so nothing can be done. Do not give these people your money. They are incompetent liars. Discusting Service. Also if they service your car they pretend you need your brake pads and discs done. GO TO A REAL GARAGE . Luckily I took mine away and got a second opinion and low n below I didn't need anything done. The parent company really needs to look into this garage and what they are doing to customers and I'm not talking someone sitting in on sales because lets be honest, you won't find out anything then. Visual mystery shoppers should be brought in. Please Please Please don't give them your money!

Incompetent Staff & Awful Customer Service
Rang Evans Halshaw Stoke Citroen dealer for a C5 I was interested in. Advert top line had it advertised as 140bhp with additional line at bottom of 160bhp. Confirmed car was on site, staff unable to confirm which bhp was correct but none the less stated I would be there within the next 2-3 hours to have a look. I arrived on time the car looked nice & I asked for a test drive. Firstly car couldn't be opened remotely due to a flat battery, couldn't be started via battery pack or jump start & I was then told I'd have to come back another day. After giving them ample notice that I was visiting & having travelled 50 miles to view the car that they couldn't be bothered to check was very disappointed that they didn't even try a new battery. Took my money to somewhere that has proper customer service instead.
They are all a complete bunch of arrogant, ignorant bellends especially the wannabe hardman general manager who's proud to be an ex IRA member & fat waste of space sales manager who just sits eating all day! Oh, did I mention Penfold the ginger fugly minger of a business damager who would rob his own Granny!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID at all costs!

I wish I could rate this as worse than terrible! The salesman lied, and even became slightly aggressive when we questioned what we had been promised. We were also promised our car would be put through a service to make sure everything was in good roadworthy order. On collection the bodywork was damaged, the car had not been checked at all, and it hadnt been cleaned. We really should have walked away at this point but we accepted the car on the basis that the bodywork would be repaired. On driving the car home we realised there were other problems with the car, big ones! It took months for these issues to be dealt with. We were informed by them that we should expect problems as we had bought a "used car", and it wasnt until we threatened legal action that "some" of these issues were resolved. I am still driving a car that has problems which started on our journey home from their garage! I will never buy from Evans Halshaw again, I advise everyone to STAY WELL AWAY, no matter how trustworthy, helpful and nice they may seem. This is the worst consumer buying process/nightmare I have every experienced!

Salesmen Lies
We purchased a car from this Franchise for our 17 year old son, The salesmen Andy Scott was extremely efficient and helpful prior to purchase. On the handover of the vehicle the car aerial was missing and the owners handbook was not with the papers. He stated that the aerial was ordered and he would post out to us, as the franchise was a considerable distance away and he said he would get a handbook from another franchise and have this sent direct.
Needless to say neither arrived, frustatingly we placed numerous telephone calls to him over the next weeks but were unable to get him to return our calls. Eventually he called back after going through the manager, he said that the aerial was still on order (two months later) and that he had never offered to send us a handbook, even though the whole family was present being our sons first car. (4 months on still no aerial)
This is a real shame as the car has been faultless and our sons experience of his first car spoilt by a salesmen that lies to sell a vehicle and continues to lie sale.
I am sure that our son will but numerous cars during the next 50 or so years and none of which will be from Evans Halshaw.

Bought A New Car From Stoke Branch When They Had A
Bought a new car from Stoke branch when they had a deal on in September. Still waiting for them to honour part of the deal. 4 phone calls,2 visits, 2 e mails to Citroen UK. Nobody cares or can be bothered to get back in touch with you. Fobbed off with the same story each time. When they sold the car to us nothing too much trouble, don't hold out much hope when service is due that was part of the sales pitch as well. In the meantime still waiting for the card with £500 to spend!

like what most of the other people have put i have had the same.... lies after lies. absolutly rubish a dealing with customers left to sit for 3hours and then told i did not give them the time to fully tell me about the deal... the car a santa fa was on the internet at 2 prices. so i was told if they think you can pay more you get the top fee. they ADD MONEY in after sales and DO NOT TELL YOU UNTILL THE PAPER WORK IS AT THE BANK.
We stopped the sale and walked away but its the lies and the back hand deals they do..... they should be shut down and PLEASE DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THEM!
