Arnold Clark, Elgin, Morayshire

Was in elgin to buy a car with my daughter, the person I dealt with could'nt have been more helpful, even took us for second test run !!!! He was brilliant, this is a lovely garage no pushy salesmen, just smiling faces. Well done would recommend to anybody, best service ever.

bought a used car from Arnold Clark in may we hadnt seen the car was being transported from another garage(which we paid £200 for!)the car wasnt there when we arrived to get it we then got a charge from our insurance for having to change back to old car they refused to reund this.we were assured the car would be checked over.we finally got the car 10 days later.there was a number of parts broken in the interior of the car and body work.three weeks in a row i ended back at the garage on my day off.the management was suposedly not there and when they did phone me refused to sort any broken parts etc or supply them.in the end it was service management that sorted out the problems!as soon as the sale had gone through and they had their money they werent interested.very dissapointed with the service the management gave and the communication.

Ok, so Arnold Clarks is a big outfit. I always liked to go to a garage where I could meet the owner and despite its size, you are quite likely to see a salesman who seems a bit older than the others. That's probably Sir Arnold! My wife and I have bought several cars over the years from our local Arnold Clark Nissan franchise and they have been very good. The staff stay and you get to know them. They do what they say they will do and for a big garage I don't feel they are too expensive. They always have a big range of cars in stock and they are always at good prices. It is important to me to have a good set of wheels and I am willing to pay for the service but Arnold Clark is not over the odds and doesn't seem to rip me off. I don't know about other branches but ours has always been good to us.
