What can i say???what a fantastic and funky little car,I found the Honda SMX 2.0L LowDown good on petrol better than my stepwagon roomy nippy and a head turner what more do you want?,my alloy wheels set the silver off lovely and the sound system sounds great really impressed,I'd recommend this mpv to anyone and reliable too with being a Honda I'd want another one if I didn't have my stepwagon that is as that is just as good but not as funky or fast

Bought my 1997 Honda SMX a few days ago. Must say im very impressed with it. The driving position is high up, you get a great view of the road and oncoming traffic. The car turns loads of heads, I mean virtually everyone I drive past will have a quick look. One or two people have already been asking me questions about the car in petrol stations etc...
You could describe her as a Mini-MPV although I think it can only seat 4, not sure if there is a middle seat belt in the back.
IF YOU HAVE A CLOSE LOOK THEN YOU'LL SEE THERE'S NO REAR PASSENGER DOOR ON THE DRIVERS SIDE, THIS MEANS YOUR PASSENGERS OR KIDS HAVE TO EXIT THE CAR ONTO THE PAVEMENT........A CLEVER IDEA.
THE MILEAGE IS VERIFIED WITH A 'JUMVEA' CERTIFICATE, THIS ALSO WARRANTS THE CAR IS NOT STOLEN.
The autobox is superb and the engine is a 2000cc so she pulls well and is pretty quick
My Honda S-MX has Alloy Wheels, Colour Coded Bumpers, Chrome Coloured Mirrors, Rear Wash Wipe, Tinted Glass, Privacy Glass, ABS, Air Conditioning, Central Locking, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Electric Mirrors, Electric Windows, Power Assisted Steering.....etc
They also come with Tinted rear windows.
Mine has the orange interior, which is ok, but the stick on wood trim looks a bit naff.
For money this will prove a different and prudent choice, apart from the MPG which I think is low 20's from the 300 miles ocvered so far. I don't drive this wagon slow mind you, but mostly motorway miles have given me around 25MPG, so it's far from an economical motor.
