Ni Cd Batteries Only Lasted 18 Months

After 18 months of normal domestic use and keeping the batteries fully charged bot the batteries that came with my drill stopped holding charge. Bosch will only guarentee them for 12 months. Replacements are £30 each. My advise is look for another supplier with a better battery technology. I will just buy very cheap drill from now on.

I Would Recommend It To Anyone Looking For A Bosch Psr 14.4

When I received the drill/driver I was a little apprehensive as to whether it would be man enough to tackle the jobs that I had to do. I needn't have worried. This is one of those bits of kit that you are glad to have bought and Well done Bosch!

For The Price The Bosch Psr 14.4 Power Drill Is A

For the price the Bosch PSR 14.4 power drill is a good tool to have around the house. Don't expect to be able to drill through anything too dense though. This is great for basic drilling, and great for tightening (or loosening) screws but I found that it didn't have to power to drill through solid walls, only plasterboard. The drill comes with two batteries, which is a must for any cordless drill! and a case that holds everything for you, neat and tidy. Mine also came with the drill bits I would ever need.I good idea is the small light that shines in the direction of the drill so if you are drilling somewhere a bit darker this is a great idea. So, to sum up this is a good drill but it does lack a bit of power. If you're looking for something handy to have around then this is the one, especially for around £40. If you're going to be drilling through thicker walls or other materials then probably a plug in power drill would have more power, unless you want to spend hundreds on a different cordless.
